Ya' know . . . I didn't think we needed anything more than the 2nd Amendment that we already have.
Yup but apparently the vast majority of Americans are panicked little bunnies who just know there's a crazed gunman hiding in the bushes outside all 100,000 schools in America.
I dated a Serbian woman who told me a story about the "peacekeepers" who were placed in schools there. Those same peacekeepers were the ones who loaded students on buses and sent them to where they wanted the resistant parents to go.
I think I prefer the staff to be armed if they wish and removing the signs that announce free fire zones.

Yeah, I teach at a private adult vocational school and we have one of those stupid signs that advertise that NO ONE IN THIS BUILDING IS ARMED, SO YOU CAN COME IN A SHOOT AT RANDOM, AND NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO STOP YOU . . . ya' know what I mean?
Would rather have a sign indicating that someone, somewhere in this building is armed and ready to use his weapon.

I think school districts should make the decision if they want police or private security, if they want armed teachers, etc. I think arming teachers should be on a volunteer basis. It’s got to be people who will use the gun if necessary. Not everybody is suited for that.

Got that right. Get rid of those stupid signs and let the school districts/teachers do as they wish.
