Connecticut coroner’s worker on paid leave for letting husband view corpse of ... Lanza

An administrative worker at Connecticut’s coroner’s office has been placed on paid leave after allegedly allowing her husband to view the body of Newtown gunman Adam Lanza.

Jean Henry, a processing technician at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, could face disciplinary action after the investigation is complete, the Hartford Courant reported. She was still on leave Thursday, sources said.

Henry is accused of allowing her husband, who is not a state employee, to enter a refrigerated autopsy room where Lanza’s body was awaiting a post mortem on Dec. 16. The only people allowed in the autopsy area are authorized staff and some law enforcement personnel, the Courant reported.

During the macabre viewing, Henry unzipped the bag so her husband could look at Lanza, who shot dead 26 people at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14. The couple “openly” went in and out of the refrigerated room and at least one other employee was aware of what was happening, sources told the newspaper.

All the time. It’s my favorite character flaw.

Very level-headed little girl covered in blood with all her classmates shot dead moments before to go to the coat rack and take her coat with her ... (14 bodies, 14 coats).

I think I would have just run out screaming ... sometimes you just have to say hmmmm ...

>>The story says he was “briefly handcuffed by police”, so he was at least detained, and there is no “supposedly”.

Like I said before, it’s a state controlled LA Times “story”. They don’t say where he was when he was supposedly “briefly handcuffed” and then supposedly released by police. If it happend, he could have been arrested en route to the school. Ever think of that? Do you have a written police report or is the LA Times good enough for you?

>>Could have? Ok, if you’re down to could haves, that’s good enough for me. There could have been a rabid killer bigfoot in the woods, but that’s not likely either.<<

There are always could haves until we have all the facts. You know... the things you don’t seem to care about.

>>If she is covered in her classmates blood, the little girl’s statement to her mother that “I’m okay” makes sense as anyone seeing the blood would immediately think that it is hers and that she is wounded.<<

I’m still surprised there are no pictures of this girl.

>>Does that mean that her 14 classmates didn’t die in the shooting — that she didn’t hide under their bodies — that with or without a mask he didn’t appear angry to her<<

Look... all I’m saying is she couldn’t see the killers face.

It’s a reasonable assumption that he is the man arrested on the video at the school, since he is also the man mentioned on the police radio calls, and there is nobody else mentioned as being detained, that you have produced. As I asked in the previous post, if you want to propose that there was someone else arrested, then where are they on the police radio calls?

The Manfredoni identification seems pretty solid to me, looking at all the evidence, not just the LA Times. I don’t see anything to contradict it of any substance.

“There are always could haves until we have all the facts. You know... the things you don’t seem to care about.”

Well, forgive me if I’m wrong, but you seem to be the one who doesn’t think there is any way we’ll ever know all the facts, right? You don’t believe the media, or the officials, and I’m sure you won’t trust any report from the investigators, since they are tools of the state. You won’t go do your own independent investigation either. So, conveniently for you, it seems, you will be able to spout “could haves” forever.

People in a state of shock don’t behave predictably. Sometimes they panic, sometimes they are oddly calm or detached. They can even experience dissociative behavior, where they might be on “autopilot”, and not remember doing things afterwards.

I forgive you. And now that someone has had unofficial access to Lanza’s body before the post-mortem, the entire Sandy Hook tragedy is forever tainted. Just the way they wanted it. Enjoy your serfdom and have a great weekend.

There was somebody dressed just like Lanza taken from the woods.

You know that as a fact? How?

Subconscious behaviour — the coatrack is probably on the way out the door and she had been well trained to grab her coat as she went out the door. And all wet and covered in blood she would have needed it.

"The nature of a conspiracy is such that to believe one is to suspend belief."
A conspiracy is a legal term of art. All it requires is two or more people planning/executing a crime.

Its oftentimes used as a phrase to denigrate another's simple questioning of the facts at hand and any discrepancies from the "official" version.

For instance, 9/11 was a conspiracy led by this guy named Bin Laden and his "mastermind" Kahlid Sheik M. Others have different views but this was a conspiracy.

There's also interesting political parallels in this truly horrific massacre to events like the Reichstag Fire which set Hitler up to take over Germany.

Whether an event was set up or merely taken advantage of can be hard to separate.

I reserve my conclusions on any event of import until the "facts" have been tossed around and vetted. That's why I value these FR threads. ;-)

You know - never let a crisis go to waste.

They happen frequently enough that they don't have to be staged.

It's like the kooks who believe the government planned, financed and executed the demolition of the WTCs with explosives. Like two fuel laden airliners wouldn't be enough.

all I’m saying is she couldn’t see the killers face.

You have no idea what she could or couldn't see.

You haven't shown that he had a mask, that he had a mask on, or that he had a mask on in her classroom.

There is no mask listed along with any of the things that he entered the school with.

The mask may just have been his coat or sweatshirt pulled up over his mouth temporarily as he entered -- that's all.

The same report that said there was a "masked" gunman also said that he "shot adults".

Coming from the “Boogieman” you must have seen many instances of this behavior so I guess I have to defer to your expert observation and experience. ;-)

On the other hand, people who are traumatized often go into a trance-like state, where they simply do the mundane things, especially when asked.

Anyway, she didn’t run out. She was found in the classroom by law enforcement. One of them probably asked her which coat was hers, and had her put it on because it was cold outside. And she probably just did what she was told.

on the other hand, maybe we really have so deadened our children to the reality of death that she wasn’t traumatized, that it was just like those video games she watched other people play. That would be truly sad.

Haha, good one. Nah, I am the “boogie” man, because I like to play boogie woogie piano, not the “bogey” man, but since I’m an evil conservative it works both ways :)

She was found in the classroom by law enforcement.

Good to know. They probably checked her out real quick and told her that "she was okay", and thus the words "I'm okay" to her mother.

"Another guy pushing the “look it’s the same girl” story also claims that the trooper who gave the interviews about the case is actually actor John Goodman. He puts a side-by-side picture set that is kind of funny."

I could use some "funny" today! Is there a place where I can see the John Goodman funny business?

TIA.

"There is video of a handcuffed man, who either could have been Manfredonia, or someone else, being led to a squad car."

At another location = Lanza's brother's house = police lead the brother to a squad car and have him cuffed.

Guess they were taking no chances.
