An administrative worker at Connecticuts coroners office has been placed on paid leave after allegedly allowing her husband to view the body of Newtown gunman Adam Lanza.
Jean Henry, a processing technician at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, could face disciplinary action after the investigation is complete, the Hartford Courant reported. She was still on leave Thursday, sources said.
Henry is accused of allowing her husband, who is not a state employee, to enter a refrigerated autopsy room where Lanzas body was awaiting a post mortem on Dec. 16. The only people allowed in the autopsy area are authorized staff and some law enforcement personnel, the Courant reported.
During the macabre viewing, Henry unzipped the bag so her husband could look at Lanza, who shot dead 26 people at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14. The couple openly went in and out of the refrigerated room and at least one other employee was aware of what was happening, sources told the newspaper.

“Maybe the second one got away. Ever think of that?”
Not according to you he didn’t:
ILS21R: “There was somebody dressed just like Lanza taken from the woods.”
Sure -- I remember those reports -- and reports of multiple shooters and that the shooter was the son of the kindergarten teacher -- but the dust has settled now, the fog of battle has retreated, the police have completed their searches, and there is no evidence that those early misreports were true.
I'm no expert, just a mother of four. And those words out of the mouth of a 6 year old don't ring true.
"Mummy, I'm okay but all my friends are dead."
I have a hard time believing that a child of that age, just having seen her classmates shot, would consider the fears of her parents and say "I'm okay". Their world is about them, especially when in shock.
And what American child refers to her mother as "Mummy"? Sounds like a British term.
And "all my friends" .... "All" as in every last one of them? And were all the victims this child's friend?
I doubt it. But I don't doubt for a moment that someone would manufacture this heartrending "statement" for political purposes, though.
>>Furthermore the MSM has a preformed narrative before these type of events even happen so believing that early reports can be more accurate because the media hasn’t had time to form the narrative is magical pixie dust.<<
You’re wrong. First accounts are the best. TWA flight 800 is a great example. There are others but I’m not allowed to talk about them here.

They don’t say where Manfredia was arrested. Only that he supposedly was.
There still could have been two killers in the woods and they got one of them.
So then Adam Lanza's mother WAS a kindergarten teacher at the school???
Is that what you want us to believe???
MASK - Parent Report. Local paper NOT state controlled MSM.
http://newtown.patch.com/articles/reports-of-shooting-at-sandy-hook-elementary-school
“One mother of an 8-year-old girl at the school, Brenda Lebinski, told Patch that her daughter is safe thanks to one teacher’s decision to move all kids into a closet when a gunman had entered the building.
Lebinski said that she had spoken to her daughter’s teacher as well as a volunteer who was in the school at the time of the shooting, and that a masked gunman had shot adults in the school.”
Any other questions?
>>So then Adam Lanza’s mother WAS a kindergarten teacher at the school???<<
Maybe she was at one time. They had been living there since 1998.
I’m here because the the article was interesting because of the issue of chain of custody.
I’m not here to advance facts, I’m here to learn facts.
And while i’m here, to pontificate about the nature of conspiracies. I am a conspiracy skeptic (I’m actually skeptical about most things — if everybody here was blindly accepting whatever the news told us about the shooting, I’d probably look like a conspiracy nut).
I have long ago learned that most of us will never have personal knowledge of fact; in the past, that wasn’t surprising, but too many people think that because they have the internet, they somehow have more truth to go on. We are all secondary observers, being told some truths, and some lies. We have only logic to use to determine which is which; if we were on-site, we’d be able to ask questions, and examine evidence, but we are not.
Anyway, I’m not here to dissuade you from your conspiracies, as bizarre as they may be. The nature of a conspiracy is such that to believe one is to suspend belief.
The same logic which states as fact that no man who has lost their 6-year-old would ever smile again. EVER. Certainly not laugh at any joke ever told again, would never grin, smirk, or otherwise show any sign of a normal life.
“They dont say where Manfredia was arrested. Only that he supposedly was.”
The story says he was “briefly handcuffed by police”, so he was at least detained, and there is no “supposedly”. There is video of a handcuffed man, who either could have been Manfredonia, or someone else, being led to a squad car. Manfredonia’s name is mentioned on the police radio calls, so they must have at least detained him, identified him and checked his record. Now, if the guy on the video is not Manfredonia, then who is he? Where is his name on the radio calls? If the guy who was “taken from the woods” was not Manfredonia, then where is his name on the radio calls, or the footage of his arrest?
We have one named person mentioned as being arrested in the media accounts, video of only one person being arrested, and the same person named by the media mentioned on the radio calls. If there was another person, in the woods, who was arrested, who was not Manfredonia, then produce the evidence for that. Otherwise, it’s baseless speculation.
“There still could have been two killers in the woods and they got one of them.”
Could have? Ok, if you’re down to could haves, that’s good enough for me. There could have been a rabid killer bigfoot in the woods, but that’s not likely either.
“First accounts are the best.”
All generalizations are false, including this one - Mark Twain
To be fair, the pastor in the interview didn’t say “mummy”, I suspect the British proof reader spell checker automatically corrected it without thinking about it. You do know spell checkers have UK and AM versions of spell check, don’t you?
I also am the mother of four (three of them girls). While it would be perfectly normal for a six year old to consider her entire class her friends, it’s first grade, not junior high, for pity’s sake... we don’t know that the child was referring to the entire class, she may have meant her all her friends in that class were dead. It’s a simple statement that adults read more into than a child would.
And yes, a child would refer to being physically unhurt as I’m okay. Kids don’t necessarily recognize or speak about emotional trauma immediately. Their world is more immediately physical, which is why kids don’t do delay gratification well and why we call adults who also don’t do it well as childish or immature.
“What does their demeanor look like?”
I really don’t care one way or another. I don’t think you should read to much into the demeanor of a child meeting the President, no matter what the circumstances. Everyone deals with grief and shock differently too, so trying to judge them based on exterior appearances is pretty dodgy.
“Flame me, folks, I guess I deserve it but: was there any indication of photoshop?”
Of the photo with Obama? I find that so unlikely that I am not going to bother to check. If a conspiracy theorist wants to run with that, let them do the legwork.
Does that mean that her 14 classmates didn't die in the shooting -- that she didn't hide under their bodies -- that with or without a mask he didn't appear angry to her -- that she didn't run out of the school covered with blood afterwards -- that only adults were killed -- that if he had a mask he didn't take it off -- that none of this happened???
On the contrary -- it only shows that initial reports can be factually incorrect or incomplete until the smoke clears.
But I am glad you have finally found a witness to the shootings that you believe -- You're getting warmer.
Are you always this condescending to people?
If she is covered in her classmates blood, the little girl's statement to her mother that "I'm okay" makes sense as anyone seeing the blood would immediately think that it is hers and that she is wounded.
>>But I am glad you have finally found a witness to the shootings that you believe — You’re getting warmer.<<
That must mean you’re getting colder.
>>Anyway, Im not here to dissuade you from your conspiracies<<
Yes you are. The fact that you have spent so much time against me belies your claim.
The difference between me and you is I try to find the truth no matter where it leads and no matter who is President.
People like you don’t. You’re as much of a threat to this nation as Obama. And that is a fact.
