I believe in gun rights, but these two are idiots.
I agree. These are the kinds of gun owners that I wish would just stay at home and fondle their weapons and keep quiet.
Actually I'm thinking...if thousands of us did that...They would maybe get the message.
Guns don't kill people...People kill people.
Spoons don't make people fat...People make themselves fat.
SUV's don't kill people, people driving them do.
Etc, etc.....
Why are they idiots? A right that cannot be exercised is not a right at all.
Idiots for exercising their Constitutional rights??? I suppose that makes you an idiot for exercising your first amendment right in your sniveling post. You don't believe in gun rights, you believe in fascist control as long as you are one of the controlers.
I believe in gun rights, but these two are idiots.
Why? Why are they idiots? Quite frankly, I kind of admire these two guys. I do not have the guts to do what they are doing but they sound like reasonable men that are simply trying to educate people that gun owners, by far, are reasonable and sane people particularly those that have the appropriate documentation (license, concealed carry, etc.).
You probably won’t have your gun rights for long.
I don’t think they’re idiots, because they seemed to know what they were doing to carry in a manner that did not get them in trouble.
I hope they were handing out copies of the US Constitution.
That it causes hysteria to see a man with a rifle strapped to his back is a sign we may be too far gone already. You may say, “not now”. I say, “now, most definately”. The NRA should be in schools now, making sure that we are not a nation of hysterical bed-wetters who panic at the sight of a gun.
This Sandy Hook garbage is going to be beaten like a drum until your 2nd Amendment rights are gone.
“I believe in gun rights, but these two are idiots.”
Disagree. We need to adopt a more “in your face” attitude that shows we are not cowed or feel guilty about being gun owners. Look at what the gays did when they were spreading AIDS everywhere and killed millions. Rather than be ashamed about it and their perversion they took the offensive and demanded MORE rights. It worked great. We should do the same.
It’s not a smart thing to do.
Let’s say you, or another Freeper or anyone else, is exercising your right to open carry an AR-15, a Weatherby 30.06 or whatever, and some panicky numbnuts sees you, and says, “Holy S**t! It’s a mass-shooter” and blows you away from behind from his bedroom window?
Sure, you’re peacefully carrying a weapon. But the shooter in this hypothetical doesn’t that. For all he (or she) knows, you’re on your way to blow away a bunch of people at a school, a community center or the local shopping mall.
And in the shooter’s mind, he (or she) has just prevented a massacre.
