CNN host Piers Morgan interviewed Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, on his show Tuesday and made one simple request: “Try to stick, if you can, to facts, not lies.”
The statement came after an extremely heated interview in which Morgan and Pratt interrupted each other several times to make their points. Morgan began the interview by immediately becoming confrontational, asking Pratt why he felt he knew more than former General Stanley Allen McChrystal on gun control. Morgan then proceeded to read several statistics which proved that more guns are not the answer.
“The data you are using is a sham,” Pratt said.
“What an absolute, absolute lie,” Morgan exclaimed.
Morgan continued to argue against Pratt’s numbers, accusing him of “deliberately lying” and “deliberately twisting” the facts so that Americans would buy into his “ludicrous fear game” and rush out to buy more guns.
“What you do is outrageous,” Morgan added.

I am a member as well. It is a great organization that refuses to compromise on our rights, as the NRA has sometimes done.

The constant lies and misinformation from the left on the gun (and other) issues unfortunately works, even in this age of the Internet and alternative media.
I was chatting with a colleague who mentioned an AR-15 consignment sale. Another colleague overheard this and stated “thats crazy. You can buy a machine gun at a consignment (ie. thrift-type) store?”
Firearm manufacturing and sales are the most regulated industry in the US, but the average uniformed voter thinks kids can buy an AR15 from NRA vending machines at school.
Sadly we are now allowing Piers Morgan a foreigner to insert himself into a debate on our Constitutional rights. Before this he was barely hanging on to his job.
Someone needs to kick this commie's ass, then back to where he came from.
