CNN host Piers Morgan interviewed Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, on his show Tuesday and made one simple request: “Try to stick, if you can, to facts, not lies.”
The statement came after an extremely heated interview in which Morgan and Pratt interrupted each other several times to make their points. Morgan began the interview by immediately becoming confrontational, asking Pratt why he felt he knew more than former General Stanley Allen McChrystal on gun control. Morgan then proceeded to read several statistics which proved that more guns are not the answer.
“The data you are using is a sham,” Pratt said.
“What an absolute, absolute lie,” Morgan exclaimed.
Morgan continued to argue against Pratt’s numbers, accusing him of “deliberately lying” and “deliberately twisting” the facts so that Americans would buy into his “ludicrous fear game” and rush out to buy more guns.
“What you do is outrageous,” Morgan added.

And to think Gangman apologized for pissing on the troops and the Country.
I don’t know, and I haven’t seen his show, but the things that I read about him remind me of how creepy and repulsive he was on that Donald Trump show, The Apprentice.
Piers won, but he revealed an absolute emptiness, a total lacking of anything aside from a desire for personal gain and winning, he has no positive qualities nor internal feelings of shame or guilt, he is pure sociopath.
That's what you exclaim when you look in the mirror, isn't it you flatulence-filled, useless POS!
At some point since the Beatles or so, people with British accents and “upbringing” (I have no idea where PM was schooled) came to appear believable and sexy to Americans. Piers capitalizes on this, but otherwise has very little going for him. He is in fact rather a lousy interviewer, his shows are invariably shallow and unenlightening, and he reveals, in these last interviews with Pratt / Lott etc. that he is little more than an opportunist. Aaron Zelman would have been a nice “next.”
The irony of course, historically, is that he is a Brit, over here, telling us what to do, and particularly, trying to disarm us.
There was a time that would have sent us into peals of laughter. Now the sheeple just do as the MSM says.
Well this guest really gave it to Piers in a more calmer way than Jones, but he told Piers he is a fool basically and that his facts are wrong and that he lives on another planet. It was a really great encounter where Piers was put in his place, but Piers kept fighting back.
All Piers wants to talk about is guns now. No more fluffy interviews or taped shows. He just wants to rant every show.
This is why I approve of how Alex Jones’ method of talking to Morgan. The left has been shouting down & talking over any opposing viewpoint for more than 20 years.
Piers Morgan would be much happier in Australia. But they’ve already been disarmed, so he isn’t needed there.
He should go anyway- & take Thom Hartmann, Chistie Matthews, & little man Rachel with him.
Well you should the full interview with this guest. He was arguing his points and real tough. It was a combative interview.

The best way to handle an a**hole like Morgan is to laugh at his rants; that really unnerves him. Then proceed to restate calmly and coolly... with a smile on your face ... the same points Alex Jones made that gun confiscation essentially guarantees an armed uprising.
O’Reilly with an accent. ... or, if you prefer, Jerry Rivers with an accent.

I thought it was a great interview from Larry Pratt. He cleaned Piers clock pretty nicely. This is how you defend gun ownership rights calm and right on message not like some of the other interviews I have seen.
Who is Morgan to call other people liars? Does he deal in facts?
America wasn’t created to provide comfort to leftist Brits.
Morgan will continue his rants and attacks as long as people watch his show. Stop watching and he will evaporate back into the dust from which he came. Same goes for all the others who rant about ANYTHING just to get attention.
I watched the video at the link. I will watch what I decide to watch and am glad that I watched all from FR.
