He was wrong on that and the GOP congress slapped him down on that (Amnesty). Bush still loved America.
focus, your rights are being taken away by a communist monster named Obama Bush is no longer president . I know you may be liberal but you are wrong too as all democrats want to do is take away individual rights like gun ownership rights and freedom.

A lot of people, like yourself, think Bush's Mexican illegal alien-loving actions were limited only to Shamnesty. This tells me that folks like you weren't paying attention to what he was doing.
Not only did he propose Shamnesty, but also put into place policies which encouraged illegal immigration and helped change banking laws which allowed illegal aliens to apply for, and obtain US credit cards, auto, home and business loans using the Mexican Matricula Consular card as ID. All of these were instrumental in the real estate debacle which ruined the US economy.
You also forget that Bush signed the US Social Security Totalization Agreement (With Mexico) that would allow Mexican illegal aliens to apply for, and obtain US Social Security benefits after having worked (illegally) in the US. They would also have been allowed to apply for US Social Security benefits for their family back home in Mexico, even if the family had never stepped foot in the USA.
None of these policies and changes to law have been reversed and are still affecting the US economy today. So, while he may be out of office, his policies are with us still.

You say that Bush loved America, but all you know of him is what his handlers, such as Karl Rove, wanted you to see. If you believe what they told you, then you may be as stupid as I am liberal.
Our rights are being taken away by two new federal government agencies created under the Bush Administration --The TSA and Homeland Security.
