Sally Cox: " The popping kept going off. And I just dove underneath my computer desk.... I could see his feet and his legs from the knees down... his feet were facing in my direction. And I just froze with fear. And then ... he turned around and I could hear him walk out.
I heard the door close and then I just heard popping starting all over again. And then the secretary, she was down behind my desk and we pulled the phone off the desk and she called 911. ... she said, ... please send help right away. We have a shooter in the building.
And then we just wanted to get out of there. And then we just ran into my big supply closet We pulled that door closed. So we were behind two locked doors. And we could just hear the popping continue. And we heard screams. Theres nothing we could do. You know? It was just a helpless, horrible feeling....like a nightmare .... you just think its a bad dream.
After some time, I think it was about 11:15, so we had been in that closet for about an hour and a half, I opened the door and I peeked out, cause my office has a lot of windows and looks into the courtyard. And I just saw what looked like maybe SWAT people but I didnt know, you know, who they were. I didnt know if there were other shooters.
And it wasnt until 1:15 when I somebody was jiggling the door. And but nobody called out. So I decided to be brave enough and open that door into the office and a lot of state police officers were there at that point. And they were very surprised to see me."

AR-15s are like the thunder of a bolt hitting a tree in a field about 100 feet from you - with ear protection in place.
From the crap reporting I’ve seen there was a rifle in the car, but he did his shooting with the pistols.
I used to think that the general quality of news reporting was uniquely bad in the US, and I’ve thought that ever since I started travelling internationally.
Then I read about the press coverage of Germany’s invasion of France in 1940. You want to talk about fraud.
I’d say the general quality of press coverage today is about on the same par. The decline of civilization is on, and accelerating, and you’d never know it reading a newspaper. That newspapers are going belly up is evidence of the market’s invisible hand at work.
Exactly what I said upthread. No way is that possible. Also, the cops asked the custodian to help clear the roof???
“From the crap reporting Ive seen there was a rifle in the car, but he did his shooting with the pistols.”
Crap reporting being the operative term. There was no rifle in the car, only a shotgun, and the victims were killed with .223 rounds from the Bushmaster. The conspiracy nuts are trumpeting a muddled news report that got the story wrong as it was happening, because it fits a narrative they want to spread. They conveniently ignore all the other reports that contradict that, or the acknowledgements from the media that they got some details wrong on the first day of coverage.
“Also, the cops asked the custodian to help clear the roof???”
I think the more logical inference is they needed the custodian to unlock the roof for them, because they didn’t have the key. I doubt they handed him a 9mm and asked him to cover them.
If the shoe fits, wear it.
I have gotten away from following this story, there is simply too much to follow at this point. I am not sure if anyone discredited this woman’s claim.

Before you ask I think our government is corrupt and Fast and Furious was intended to cause chaos and they are lying about Bengazi but I am not ready to believe that Newtown was a hoax.
So then the nurse [and the secretary who was with her] are lying on the interviews on CBS and ABC??? and the news footage of her leaving the school around 2:00 PM are what??? Hollywood productions???
Who are you kidding???
No. I was commenting to the report she didn’t have keys to lock her door. Doesn’t matter if she had keys, classroom doors do NOT have keyed locks inside. It’s against fire codes. The inside knob can only have a button lock so students can get out without a key.
Okay — I got you.
But you do understand that the video called the shooting a hoax because the substitute teacher didn’t lock her door.
Watch ANY interview with them, and you will see that their emotions are feigned, forced and faked whenever discussing the "incident."
This is a far different response from the people who went through real school shootings like the ones at Columbine and Virginia Tech.
You are free to disagree with me, and join your pals Boogieman and Chip.
But don't think for a second that ANY of the emotion displayed by these losers is REAL.
It's all fake, and they are lying to promote an agenda of total disarmament.
I do know something about human emotion. I lost an 18 year old son in a traffic accident and found out about it when the police showed up at our door at 1am to inform us.
I had people tell me later that they could not believe how calm and stoic I was in the days and months afterward. I know I was either boiling inside or emotionally dead and everything in between. If you have not been through something tragic then you have no idea how you will appear to others.
I get really put out with freepers who profess to know what is going on inside someone that they have watched on the evening news.
Prole, it is a matter of courtesy here on FR that if you are going to mention another Freeper that you ping him to your post.
Failing to do so appears to be a habit of yours. Please break it.
“Then you clearly do not understand a thing about the true nature of human emotion. I have explained time and again that these “grieving people” in Newtown are a bunch of damn frauds and liars.”
Are you a psychologist, psychiatrist, or some other type of professional qualified to be making these pronouncements? Or are you just making irresponsible speculations and slandering the grieving victims of a horrible tragedy?
“I get really put out with freepers who profess to know what is going on inside someone that they have watched on the evening news.”
As do I. It’s one thing to regard the statements of politicians with a healthy skepticism. They invite that upon themselves when they take the job. Ordinary citizens who undergo a tragedy and make a public statement deserve more courtesy.
