A New Jersey-based Italian-American advocacy group is upset with the portrayal of Gov. Chris Christie on Time magazine's cover this week.
To me, it was just the typical smearing of Italian-Americans , said Andre DiMino, president of the Italian-American One Voice Coalition. Regardless of who the person is, but making it look like a mug shot and saying boss.
Christie took issue with the cover layout in an appearance this morning on Imus in the Morning, suggesting it made him look like a mob boss and was not kind.
DiMino said that although the cover made no mention of the fact that Christie is part Italian-American, in the rest of the country this will just put out that subliminal message that Christie and the mafia is the same.

Never knew Christie was Italian
I don’t care for racial “advocacy” groups, especially not for groups that are barely even a subculture, let alone an ethnicity. But that cover is stupid. I don’t know why they always have to have these close-ups with blank stares that make people look like weirdos.
If it’s a lib they’ll usually soften the image, leave it a little out if focus. But they do it to them, too. Warren Buffet, I remember, looked like a troll on one cover or another. They gave Paling a disturbingly extreme close up, with the excuse that they were zooming in on her daring, or something which related to the article. But she was still hot, so no harm.
He was always a one trick pony. A loudmouth who would argue and give smart remarks to union teachers. So everyone thought he was something he wasn’t. Beyond that one thing that made him famous, he might as well be a democrat. And he is FAR too cozy with moslems.
He thinks he can redeem himself after his treachery a few days before the election. He is finished. Besides, no way a slob like that could get voted president.
It appears the shrill cry of racism is not only found in the Amish.
Whoops, that’s Palin and zooming in on her earing. Stupid kindle.
“I dont know why they always have to have these close-ups with blank stares that make people look like weirdos”
And these idiots pose for them too, doing everything the photog says like a fashion model. Totally gay.
I don’t even think a centerfold could capture all his “greatness”....(s)
Since the IA community took first dibs, I guess Springsteen is out of luck for the gripe fest over the magazine appropriating his street name.
Two laps around him is an Olympic event.
LOL!
Cake “Boss”
True, but would you want it to?
Absolutely not!
