Vice President Biden suggested Wednesday that the White House could take unilateral action on gun control, as he kicked off a round of meetings aimed at finding ways to curb gun violence.
The vice president met Wednesday with gun-safety and victims groups, saying he is "determined" to take "urgent action" to address gun violence. "This is not an exercise in photo opportunities or just getting to ask you all what your opinions are. We are vitally interested in what you have to say," Biden said.
The White House has sought to avoid prejudging what Biden's recommendations would be. But the vice president hinted Wednesday that executive action -- action by the president in which Congress would not have a say -- would indeed be involved.

...zzzzzzzzzz....
WA loves its guns and there hasn’t
been much said here outside of Seattle about it.
Could be that the local reps don’t wan’t to stir that particular hornet nest, McSchwinn and his buy back notwithstanding.
I fear blood will be shed if he tries that.
We need to avoid a day of symbolic action and make it permanent. I boycott companies for life, and any company that acts to support a government infringement on my right to keep and bear arms will be boycotted forever. I do not deal with GM, GE, Citi, Bank of America, and many other companies because of far lesser offenses (financial crimes against our children), and I would certainly boycott over the most fundamental of our human rights.
This is just more evidence that Biden himself was involved in planning the Newtown attack.

He's so bad he hurts his grandchildren's credit ratings.
I suspect that what they do not want is for us gun owners work to maintain our Second Amendment rights in a calm and reasoned manner and responsible manner.
.
O’Shnitler just loves those executive orders.
SWEIN
so when he signs the exec order. I’m sure there will be plenty of cases brought to courts immediately, like what happened when ObamaCare passed.
How fast can we get a court to file an injunction to stop it - would the Supreme court need to pass that? or any federal court? Or do states need to refuse individually?
I have thought for some time now that some of these attacks seem very conveniently timed. They also seemed to decrease significantly when Bush was president.
That’s what I thought about Obamacare.......now look what we have.
Executive action can be rescinded instantly by a future President.
Rock n Road!!!
If Obama gets away with dismantling the second amendment via executive order his next step will be to name his dog Bo the Speaker of the House. After all, who will stop him?
Big difference... even some liberal dims love their guns.
LLS
Horse Manure... The old red herring to detract from the Ben Gazi TREASON by Obama and Clinton.
Good Company in a bad State and City....
