"Now my kids have police in front of their school. I mean you wonder how far it’s going to go," one mother from Larchmont said.

Sasha and Malia get that kind of protection every day. Stop complaining, beeeyotch.

None of those “sweeping” new restrictions will do anything to stop the next mass shooting. Then the liberals/dems will say just a few more restrictions (which won’t attack the problem) are necessary to stop the violence

and on

and on

and on

Not surpised when you can get arrested in NYC just for carrying a small pocket knife.

It looks like piling-on. Politicians are all going to try to out do each other in creating more restrictive gun law platforms.

We can expect to see regulatory creep much like the anti-smoking lobby used so successfully. Remember when they just wanted their own section in restaurants?

"It would be quite a coup for Cuomo, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, to show progress on gun control"

Yep, being known gun grabber is the ticket.

So lady, if they pass Cuomo’s agenda you will feel your kids are safer and the armed security at their school will no longer be needed? Are you nuts?

This whole thing is a mental health issue and not a firearms issue. Keep the crazies off the street and your kids will be safer. Keep the crazies on the street and disarm the citizens and we are all in trouble.

Unless it includes enforcement against criminals who have guns, it is only an assault on innocent gun owners.

When Newtown happened..the left couldn’t contain their glee..they could give a rats ass about dead children..this is their opportunity to do what they have always wanted to do..destroy the 2nd Amendment, its what they have always wanted to do..they are taking the page right out of Hitler’s playbook, the only way to control a nation is to disarm it’s citizens

A deal to give New York one of the toughest gun control laws in the nation is being negotiated by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who, sources said Tuesday, is hoping to announce the plan Wednesday during his State of the State speech in Albany.

Cuomo hopes to jump-start the 2013 legislative session with a big deal that could dramatically alter gun control laws across the state.

This jackball is going to run for President, Hitlery is not...her age and health will not allow it.

Cuomo will try to do what his daddy couldn't do...and the press, instead of poking fun at him like they did to Dubya, will hail him for coming from a "Legendary Dynasty".

Beware of Cuomo. He wants to kill your liberty almost as much as Obama.

Never let a good crisis go to waste, right......

The Second Amendment is for chumps, I guess. Who the f*** needs to obey the Constitution, right Cuomo?

I say we hang signs along highways entering NY State that say “Hey Criminals! Welcome! It’s now OPEN SEASON!”

"“How many more children must die before Washington does something to end our gun violence problem?” the ad says."

Hey, you stupid bitch.....how many more will die when you disarm the populace? What do you do with what passes for a brain......take it out and play with it, for God's sake?

Every bit as vile as his father. I owned guns in NYC. It cost more for the license than the gun, and the bureaucratic hoops one had to jump through were beyond belief. Now he wants to spread the joy around to the rest of the state, huh? When is he up for reelection?

I don’t hear a word about the guns on the street. This is blatantly against law abiding citizens. They are going to do this one state at a time..state government doing the feds’ bidding .. and if no one stops it in NY, they will go to the next one. No one stops it at the next one.. they figure they are home free. Where is the outcry? Where is the refusal? They make the laws and then wait for a citizen to use a gun? Do they expect to have the guns turned in? Do they expect the local police to go house to house?

“It is polarizing,” Cuomo said.

That is exactly the reason that Obama picked this issue at this time. Pushing gun control keeps his base in line behind him for all the other battles that he plans to fight. Obama knows that he doesn’t have a mandate to ruin the economy, raise taxes and push Obamacare costs, but as long as he keeps demagoguing gun control, he’s got a winning issue with the “low information” voters.

Take guns away from the good guys and leave the schools defenseless “gun free zones”.

Now there’s a recipe for disaster right there.

Morons.

Adam Lanza killed some little kids, so all’s youse peasants are GUILTY!

GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!

We’re gonna need a deck of cards for almost every state, it looks like. Cuomo should get the King of Spades for New York State.
