No demagogue, of course, ever announced that his purpose was a Totalitarian Society. The "unity"--in reality uniformity--being proposed, was supposed to magically enhance "freedom," "opportunity" &, of course, "hope" & "change."

"Freedom" and "unity" are, of course, antithetical concepts.

Which doesn't stop Hollywood from using the immense market power of its celebrity nitwits to push fascism. :)

The real conflict is between "liberty," and "equality." The Left has been confusing the mob since the days of the Jacobins in France (1789-1795). Why any intelligent person would fail to understand that Collectivist/Egalitarianism Sabotages Human Potential, has always escaped me.

We need to stop being "politically correct," and calmly explain how their stupidity is not only destroying the freedom of decent people. It actually destroys any real hope for improving the lot of even those the Left pretends to be trying to help!

We need to stop talking about "unintended consequences," and recognize stupidity, wherever we encounter it.

[The pin-up is cute. The picture reminds us that sometimes we need to be polite, even when we confront egregious silliness. The Lass has better uses to put her natural equipment to than advertising her Jacobin corruption.]

That Ann Hathaway "Fed Up" tee-shirt with its "We need Unity and Freedom" slogan, might just be the rollout of Barky's and/or the PTB's new totalitarian theme.

Wonder where it came from?
