A communication professor known for conspiracy theories has stirred controversary at Florida Atlantic University with claims that last month's Newtown, Conn., school shootings did not happen as reported — or may not have happened at all.
Moreover, James Tracy asserts in radio interviews and on his memoryholeblog.com. that trained "crisis actors" may have been employed by the Obama administration in an effort to shape public opinion in favor of the event's true purpose: gun control.
"As documents relating to the Sandy Hook shooting continue to be assessed and interpreted by independent researchers, there is a growing awareness that the media coverage of the massacre of 26 children and adults was intended primarily for public consumption to further larger political ends," writes Tracy, a tenured associate professor of media history at FAU and a former union leader.
In another post, he says, "While it sounds like an outrageous claim, one is left to inquire whether the Sandy Hook shooting ever took place — at least in the way law enforcement authorities and the nation's news media have described."

Tracy cites several sources for his skepticism, including lack of surveillance video or still images from the scene, the halting performance of the medical examiner at a news conference, timeline confusion, and how the accused shooter was able to fire so many shots in just minutes.
Tracy said he believes the deaths at Sandy Hook may have resulted from a training exercise. "Was this to a certain degree constructed?" he said. "Was this a drill?

But, he added, he has not seen bodies, or photos of bodies. "Overall, I'm saying the public needs more information to assess what took place. We don't have that. And when the media and the public don't have that, various sorts of ideas can arise."

That’s a nonsense rumor. Neither GE (GE Capital or any other division) nor FICO are LIBOR contributors, nor is there any evidence that the father of either shooter was ever scheduled to testify regarding anything concerning the LIBOR scandal.

I don’t believe anything without substantial evidence. However, I have seen videos of this Facebook site (which is now taken down) with a date marker and on cache. It proves nothing other than there are some strange circumstances.
The latest shootings are also very strange. It seems that the media peppers everyone with information until something solidifies 3 to 4 days later. No one is allowed to look at the evidence (even the parents of the dead), get near where it occurred, and any questioning of it makes the questioner a “tin-foil hat” guy.
I also find it hard to believe the medical examiners testimony of “yeah, I examined them but I don’t know anything about them.” There is also a blog he was interviewed by in which he compared guns to bacteria in a wound. He is vehemently anti-gun.
That story was dropped like a lead balloon. 3 of the 4 he supposedly had the altercation with were shot dead, and the 4th [the secretary] was home sick that day and simultaneously hiding in the closet with the school nurse for 4 hours.
The whole thing is a choose the story and line and statement that you want to believe and go with it. There is no official anything.
The nurse's interview is particularly bothersome.
I believe I read yesterday that Lanza shot up cars in the parking lot first?
That would have to have been from bullets that originated from within the school as he was shooting at kids running out of the classroom, but we have no pictures of the crime scene or broken glass or bulletholes in the windows -- merely anonymous statements from anonymous sources that change with the wind.

Several threads on this ridiculous LIBOR scandal shooting connection have been yanked from Free Republic and for good reason. Jim doesn't want this Alex Jones-type garbage sullying his site. Or is Jim part of the conspiracy too?

I don’t really buy the conspiracy theory. That it did not happen. But completely can believe that the anti gun cartel have been planning for a long time on how to react when a shooting they could exploit came along. And had the plan staged for short term activation.

Neither one of these men would have anything to do with setting international borrowing interest rates anyway, which is what LIBOR is.

Ever been to a NAB Show? Communications is a highly evolved technical industry and is far more complicated than you might think.
And that is just on the commercial level.
Nothing other than too many coincidences to make it NOT real. I'm surprised how people dismiss the connections.
We live in a world of mutually assured economic destruction. The merging of economies has taken the place of atomic warfare. Instead, we threaten each other financially. If too many nations fall, we all fall. Those the top of the Federal Reserve can and do manipulate everything.
The banks are all connected, and money moves to and fro. How can you NOT take a second look at this and think "Maybe. Just maybe, there is something going on here?"
I find it hard to believe you can NOT see the multiple connections and players , and simply dismiss it because those who are deeply involved in the scandal are saying there's nothing see here - just move along.
In your mind, isn't there just a little bit of doubt that maybe, just maybe, there's a bigger game being played here? Maybe it's not just coincidence?
No doubt drew is a troll, but I have yet to see any evidence of Senate hearings being scheduled let alone a witness list.
I'm not say it couldn't be true, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was, but I don't see any evidence to support it.
BTW, with regards to what the two fathers do for a living has no connection what so ever to what LIBOR is, why would they be essential witnesses even if there were hearings?

On the serious side though, the evidence that the media lies to us all the time is all around us.
I am honestly beginning to wonder if they ever tell the truth or if they even know what that word means.
