Saw it. I’m not doubting your veracity here, friend. If you say you know folks on-scene, then I take it that you do.
But I seriously just don’t know what the hell to believe anymore. I trust no one in any “official” capacity when it comes to this and other similar incidents.
I don’t trust them, nor do I believe them - especially when not more than 24 hours afterwards, the usual suspects were out there screaming for banning anything and everything with prepared statements, bills, etc., and not one LEO or cop who was on-scene stepped up and said “Whoa, hold on there, that isn’t necessary.”
The dems played on the emotion of the moment.
See Old Sarge’s list of questions at #56.
There isn’t enough tinfoil in this county for me to even begin addressing that list.
Completely agree on the Dems. For Feinstein to be pushing legislation before the CT State Police have even issued their report points up that she is all about using emotionalism to drive bad legislation that wouldn’t pass with logical, considered deliberation.
Cops often don’t get involved in political aspects of cases like this. They are beholden to the local political establishment. It takes an elected sheriff (Arpaio is a good example) to make big public statements that go against the PC grain.
