I took Prozac briefly. I was so lethargic, I didn't have enough energy to get out of bed, let alone shoot somebody. Seems that no one can predict with certainty how these meds will work. They can be a nightmare or a godsend.

Another problem is misdiagnosis. I know a guy who took antidepressants for years with little relief. Recently, it was discovered he was actually bipolar, not just depressed. He was being treated for only one symptom.

During my brief career in a union shop, bipolar was the diagnosis given to rightfully fired union members in order to get their job back. So I always bipolar meant jerk.
