>>I thought Van Hollen said it regarding FNS.<<
Here's an excerpt from the transcript:
ROBERTS: Well, if this discussion this morning is any indication of how the next eight weeks are going to go, it's going to be interesting time.
Let me shift --
VAN HOLLEN: It's becoming a fact-free zone, that's the problem.
Yep you nailed it
I think we also need to start advertising on Judge Judy, Ellen, etc.
Basic messages... “Republicans don’t want to take your tampons” etc.
That mistake was made in April 2011. Boehner was outsmarted again by the WH. The idea was that neither party wanted the cuts as outlined. Rather, it was supposed to force them into a deal. So far, it has not happened. That said, I bet that they come up with a deal and it won't be a good one in terms of debt and deficits. Both parties don't want any real cuts.
Yes, entitlement reform, especially Medicare is absolutely necessary. But now we have added another huge entitlement program, Obamacare, that will make things worse. Obamacare is going to cost much more than the projections. When the CBO scored the bill, it included the $716 billion from Medicare, but this latest deal again includes the doc fix, which means the reductions CBO scored will not occur.
Thanks.
I am so disgusted with the quality of our elected officials and their perspective, that I really cannot focus on these Sunday shows any more. Maybe Van Hollen spoke a truth: it is all a fact free zone.
Nah...He wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the @$$.
He was just being insulting to the FNS host and Jordan for actually telling the truth.
Rammer, Jammer, Yellow Hammer!
