Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of some of the most strict interpretations of Islam, has a notoriously unyielding police force. But unlike most countries, the Saudi kingdom also has an active religious police, and the roles of the two sometimes seem to overlap.
For instance, Al-Arabiya related Friday that a man was recently arrested by the real police after being found in possession of documents indicating his desire to
marry a Jewish woman.
He was reportedly near the Grand Mosque in Mecca when apprehended.
Al-Arabiya explains:
Lieutenant Abdulmohsen Maiman, spokesman for the Grand Mosque police, told [al-Hayat newspaper] that the 49-year-old Saudi national could be suffering from mental disorder.
He said the man was arrested in possession of five documents containing contradictory information showing the mans mental state and expressing his desire to marry a Jewish a woman, al-Hayat reported.
Lieutenant Maiman denied earlier reports that the man was handing out papers to worshipers and asking them for help in finding his Jewish dream wife. [Emphasis added]
It is unclear what, exactly, the five documents said that made police believe the man was looking for a Jewish wife.

I surrender. Please take me into your personal custody and interrogate me. I'll reveal all the enemy plans and troop movements if you torture me with kisses.
No, I only look like a tourist, I'm a spy, a terrible evil spy and you need to interrogate me. Interrogate me now before I go crazy.
LOL ;^)
