PAT BUCHANAN: There are three million ArmaLite rifles, those Bushmaster types, out there right now. And people are buying them like hotcakes, every gun show the sales are up enormously. Forty-one percent, they were up in December -- for last December, which was a record year. John, what is common though, Eleanor [Clift] is correct, the push is going to come on three things. Grandfather in the assault weapons that are here now, to try to outlaw assault weapons, outlaw magazines that carry more than 11 or 12 bullets, and also background checks at gun shows.
JOHN MCLAUGHLIN: With no Second Amendment, Congress could pass a law, as limited as this: banning assault rifles or as sweeping as prohibiting all private firearm ownership and requiring the surrender of all privately held firearms.
BUCHANAN: There would be a revolution in this country!
MCLAUGHLIN: Baloney! That doesn't mean you can't own one, but you have to put it in first and then go try --
BUCHANAN: There are 270 million guns in this country right now, John, and there adding to them at a rate of 16 million a year.

He sure likes comparing himself to Lincoln.
I just did a quick number check.
There are roughly 2.6 million military personnel in America.
There are roughly 800,000 police.
There are roughly 52 million households with guns.
Even of half refused to take up arms, it’d be no contest.
Really? It’s already been done in CA, NYC, Chicago, DC, post Katrina...
This punk wants you dead mort, you obviously are NOT his kind of supporter.
“They most certainly did not! Their media “advocates” did. That is no where near the same thing.....”
Politics is perception.
Ibid. Liberator
(and pass it on)
“Yes. We need an Argentinian desaparecidos movement here. Imagine: a prissy, francophile MSM “commentator” staggering home from a drunken Georgetown orgy. A black SUV pulls up alongside him...he’s never heard from again. Ah, I can dream, can’t I?”
I would be content with pulling an Alinsky on certain characters in the media. What we need is an SEIU on the right. Problem is we work.
It’ll be a busy time, then.
You better quit dallying!
Tell her “No”.
The ones we don’t let go home will come next.
Double visits are so costly. Simply prep your crawl space beforehand.
***The 22nd is the day after MLK day. Much will be made of that death.***
They are going to try to ban semi-auto rifles and large capacity magazines because Martin Luther King was shot with a 4 shot pump action Remington 760 rifle?
Can’t wait till all those “new” Armalite slide action rifles hit the market along with the new Ruger Lever action rifles designed back in 1992.
“Shoot her.”?
And make a martyr for the bad guys that even enrages some good people?
Send her home with a firm “No” and let the ones we make an example of come next as we have then had time to get all our neighbors to their GQ positions. Get my drift?
Confronting armed soldiers on your doorstep is suicide, there are lots better ways to go, or even, not to go, if you prefer.
The enemy has tens of thousands of soft targets, some of which are quite important to the success of the regime. They cannot possibly cover them all.
I am not a soldier, and I'm too old to go bushwhacking. But the patriots have many soldiers on our side, who know that throwing away their lives, one by one, is a stupid way to fight a war.
Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it,but instead of polarize it, well, you know...
Hopefully it will not come to war. But if it does, having our forces picked off one by one is probably not the best option.
“They are going to try to ban semi-auto rifles and large capacity magazines because Martin Luther King was shot with a 4 shot pump action Remington 760 rifle?”
There is no basis for assuming these people know objective facts, let alone how to tell the truth or do it. None of them
I can’t think of a better way to go if I have to go...
Many people say that they would die for their country. I have said it also.
What people need to really consider is: would they be willing to kill for their country?
To answer that question really puts you in a totally different mindset, an offensive as oppose to defensive and shows you the seriousness of the endeavor and the planning required.
What we need is an Order of Battle, broken down state by state, of the potential forces of repression that could potentially be unleashed against gun owners.
Locations & concentration of forces, police headquarters from state level down to local level. Offices for disaster & emergency action as well (not just for tornadoes anymore). National Guard units & armories which can be mobilized by the governor’s office to deal with “insurrections”.
Interactive maps would be extremely helpful. It would also help to know the political culture of each state. Alabama ain’t Massachusetts, just saying.
Do members of the forces of law & order really want a significant bloc of the citizenry to regard them as the enemy? Do they care? Just asking.
I don’t think the Liberator was deployed. Swell idea though. Would a people knowing of the coming tyranny wait for the battle to begin and be prepared with one such handgun in the hopes of a ripe opportunity to select a modern firearm? Maybe you’re just being facetious for the benefit of making a point?
