A gunman killed three people before police shot him dead Saturday in a shooting at a house in the Colorado town of Aurora, the same town that played host to a massacre at a cinema last year, police said.
NBC television's local affiliate KUSA cited police as saying that one survivor escaped from the house, where an "armed and dangerous" man had earlier barricaded himself inside with hostages, AFP reported.
"The barricade situation is resolved. The suspect is dead. There were also three other victims found dead inside," the Aurora Police Department announced on its official Twitter account.
Aurora made global headlines in July 2012 after a horrific shooting at a movie theater left 12 people dead and 58 others wounded during the first midnight screening of the latest Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises."

Guns aren’t the problem. Aurora, Colorado is the problem. It’s a good thing that they legalized marijuana up there. Those people really need to try to mellow out. A little weed and a good case of “the munchies” would go a long way towards helping them with their problem. They’re all too uptight.
If only we had more repressive “gun control” laws, this would never have happened, saith the fawning, pandering, drooling “liberal”.

I’ve just checked aol news, and it has nothing. Is this a ‘blacked out’ event? Have there been others? Or are the bodies still warm, and they haven’t yet scrambled the media feeding frenzy? If so, I guess there really is an international Jewish conspiracy, or otherwise, how would A7 scoop everyone?
Scratch previous response. Aol news has it in Latest Headlines, not that that has much prominence. It’s below fad diets, some crap that a movie star did, and the usual aol garbage.
If the shooter was black you won’t hear a peep about this from the media..only if the shooter was white will you hear about it..fits into their “White people are evil” agenda

They did cover the LIRR shooting, even though the shooter was black. Of course, that was more than a decade ago, and they might not cover the same thing as extensively today.
