Cajun, yeah when Salton lake was active a few months ago I thought the same thing about there deep boreholes acting as a conduit to allow for the recording of a stonely wave...makes sense.

Errant....your errant core idea rocks...lol

FYI, Yellowstone Lake is being subjected to a bit of a swarm the last few days!

I've had one epiphany after another and have this thing figured out! Yeah, right... lol

I've written down about a dozen notes to go through and research. More later for y'all to critique. :)

I am more convinced than ever that it's tidal forces and NOT convection driving the earth's tectonics.
