Strange reaction coming from the police in Illinois. They feel it’s a slap in their face even though they weren’t in uniform. However, I suspect they don’t support conceal weapon permits.
They feel it’s a slap in their face because cops are generally haughty and entitled. No doubt were they on the scene when a non-cop customer complained about being denied service for carrying, they’d consider his haughtiness suspect and taze him in the testicles to be sure.
You’d better get your Illinois regions straight. That’s southern Illinois they’re talking about, not Chicago. There are conservatives in this state, doncha know?
