If there is anything approaching an iron law of American politics, it's this: The next president will be a member of the same race as the current one. It's a rule that has held through 42 of 43 transfers of power. And there's every reason to think it will hold through the next one.

RE: After 8 years of Obama failing the black community, there will be diminished energy by Eric Holders people to turn out the vote in 2016.
I heard something similar said in 2012. Only the remark was “After 4 years of Obama failing blacks”.
It’s a shame Thomas Sowell will be 86. He would have my vote if he was younger!
RE: Thank god! That means it wont be Hillary.
Who’s to say it won’t be Michelle?
And you thought Idiocracy was just a fictional movie.
That’s because it was the personality cult of Obama that dragged him over the finish line ahead of Vanilla Mitt...
...’scholorships, jobs and promotions’...those aren’t things that are voted on by the public.
Actually Baraq has been great for the black community.
We’re handing out EBT, unemployment, section 8 housing, medicaid, Obamaphones, etc like never before.
Ha, some people -- some white people -- have. But from what I've seen lately from actors and columnists and polls and the "where my free phone at?" crowd, it's race first and foremost from here on out.
Gawd imagine Barkley's golfing trips as Prez, make that pay-per-view and that will pay off the deficit.
"Wrong" by one in what, forty years? Mama's doing pretty good so far.
Actually, I think this social experiment will be played out by 2016

Unemployment among African Americans has remained quite high throughout the sluggish economic recovery of the past several years, despite the steady decline in overall unemployment in the economy generally.

by then it won’t be skin color it will be policy

Any guy with a drop of African blood that’s “successful” is black to the MSM.
Tiger Woods was probably the best example.
Man, you are a tough one to have a conversation with. Haha. I wish we had YOU on the case when Clinton was impeached. I would have liked to see Bill try that "depends on what your definition of is is." on you. You woulda picked him to pieces. That would have been a joy to watch.
I’m not buying it. Odumbo has hurt the black community more than anyone in modern history. The NEXT black person, man or woman that will be elected will have to have been a “saint”, long before getting even close to being elected as Pres. Being a simple “community organizer” won’t cut it!
