I was watching the vote on CSPAN and it looked to me like the conservative GOP was sending Tammy Faye a warning. Waiting til the last minute to finally shift a couple more votes his way. I hope he got the picture.

I said our own party, a party for conservatives.
At least if it were Pelosi we could put her name on everything bad that’s going to happen to this nation from this point on.
With the exception of ObamaCare you would be startled at the list of democrat accomplishments under Boehner compared to Nancy Pelosi.
And give this guy a call: 1-800-618-PHIL. A very conservative talk show host out of Nashville and syndicated. He tried to work with Bachmann and her staff when SHE wanted help in the primary.
She promised this and that and never deliverd. Come on his show...never did. Have him introduce her at a rally in Nashville...she cancelled and had a private fundraiser instead.
He said her staff were rude, liars and accused him of lying and trying to stab her in the back. Phil said it was like dealing with 7 year olds.
I said in 2010 and no one responded after the election the Tea Parties focus should have been exposing K-Street for what it is, who they are, their goodies in the tax code and shutting them down...

And then some santorum fans might say that since newt cheated on his wife, posed with pelosi and was a global warming nut then certainly newt is no conservative. I was a newt supporter but there is no question newt has baggage. One can whittel away at the conservative credentials of just about everyone that ran.
So there you have it. Conservatives didn’t split the vote because no pure “conservatives” even ran. So since conservatives didn’t even run for president then what are we complaining about? :-). Gotta laugh at some of this crap.
Then our energies must shift.
We must make K-Street is money and influence the pariah that it is, we can only shame them, and those that deal with them.

Well then, according to the Collective Wizdumb of FR's venerable Drum Corps of Whiners Blamers Moaners Handwringers and Fingerpointers, Rep. Ryan and Rep. Bachmann and the 220 or so others who voted for Boehner, must immediately be drummed out of the ranks of True Conservatives, have "RINO" permanently affixed to their foreheads with hot branding irons, and be consigned to the lowest level of RINO Hell with bus treads all over their bodies.
The only task remaining is to whip up a list of those Certified Patriotic Republicans who voted against Boehner, and pick one to be our standard bearer. This shouldn't take very long at all, since there are only nine (9) of them:

It’s sad reading the majority of replies on this thread. It simply illustrates the fact that most here, either refuse to accept it or have no comprehension of what time it is.
The bewilderment over Bachman; the repeated calls to ‘primary’ the Ruling Class Judenrat to the MarxoFascists; the continued strategizing and worrying over elections in 2014 and 16; continued advocation of voting for a party proven to be nothing more than spineless, self-serving sellouts to tyrants.
The National Socialists have achieved total power folks. The Ruling Class and all in the halls of D.C. know what time it is. They are going to do whatever it takes to share in the power as it will be wielded, or be run out of power by their own. Some even in talk radio appear to be resigned to acknowledging reality here.
As for the rest of us - we’re having pretty yellow labels sewn for us by the Regime and it’s media that they are slapping on our lapels. The hatred against such targets is being stoked by this regime for acceptance by the populace. Calls to kill and treat Conservatives and gun owners as terrorists is being promoted in the mainstream. The punishments, criminalization’s and eventual genocide against us is in the ‘initiate’ phase, make no mistake. That is why the massive push for gun confiscations and bans is being rushed on through - just like ObamaCare was.
And like the budget deal - the legislation will arrive right as the votes are being cast and no one will read what is inside, total criminalization with massive punishment for anyone caught not complying with surrendering their god-granted rights.
Don’t kid yourself and wave that notion off. History speaks to what is taking place here.
I only read one person here who spoke words that indicate to me that he gets it: he’s in survival mode.
We ALL should be in survival mode and ready to defend ourselves from what is coming.
There ARE no more elections to win, we have already been transformed into a National Socialist Welfare Party run by overt MarxoFascists. What they need to establish total and complete rule over us - is violence and bloodshed and chaos to create empty shelves and a populace willing to trade every birthright they have, for the promise of bread.
That my FRiends is what is happening right in front of your face.
So I guess if it comforts you to delude yourself into strategizing the next election and what party to join - I see no difference in that than simply digging a hole to bury your head in.

The key here is "our own party". Because that is what will happen when each of us insists on the Highest Standards of Purity in our chosen political party --- we will realize that the only way to be completely true to ourselves is for each of us to create and play in our own POOP (Party Of One Person). We must refuse to associate politically with anyone whose entire set of political stands doesn't exactly match our own.
For example: Does your wife agree with you 100% on immigration, gun rights, taxes, govt spending, gay marriage, Big Govt, Big Labor, Big Green, defense, capital punishment, and the Constitution? But she mistakenly believes life begins at implantation while you know it begins minutes earlier at fertilization, making you more ProLife than her? Then NO WAY can she be allowed to join your Very Own Political Party Of One and dilute its purity! She must file papers to establish her own POOP.
Remember those ancient words of wisdom:
"Have you ever noticed how anyone who drives slower than you is a jerk, and anyone who drives faster than you is a maniac?"
That is soooooo true! Nobody else drives exactly like you do, therefore you're the only Pure Driver in the world; and never forget that! This same valuable lesson applies to Political Purity as well.

There were 9 or 10 seats all together lost to the Rats because of third-party candidates. They are damaging us badly.
I’m totally neutral on Boehner. If he could have been replaced with someone more effective, I would have been all for it but if he couldn’t, Boehner is a hell of a lot better than Pelosi.
OMG! You just wrote almost exactly what I wrote on another thread. A house divided cannot stand and conservatives are surely divided. When no one is good enough for us guess what we get? Barack Obama.
Bachmann deserves to be criticized.
People shouldn’t be so hard on Bachmann and other conservatives for their vote for Bonehead. There was the very REAL possibility that Pelosi could have been elected had the Republican vote been split. How would that have worked out for us?
I can appreciate that thinking, however, there were some who refused to apply this logic to the presidental election.
