Going home: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Wednesday after being treated for a blood clot
Republicans have been battering the Obama Administration and any officials associated with the September 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate, which killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
The Washington Post reports that Clinton 'remains committed' to appearing in front of the Congressional committees, though no date has been set.
The new House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman, Rep Edward Royce, said the government accountability report on the attack points to 'an unacceptable failure of leadership' leading up to the attack.
Some Senate Republicans have threatened to block the confirmation of Sen John Kerry, Clinton's successor as Secretary of State, until Clinton testifies.
Clinton has long said she planned to leave the job as the nation's top diplomat after Obama's first term.
. Her physicians say she suffered no stroke or neurological damage as a result of the clot. She is expected to make a full recovery.
Clinton's illness led her to cancel an overseas trip and scheduled testimony before Congress about the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
When her absence was reported, several pundits and newspapers accused Clinton of making her illness seem worse than it was to dodge questions from lawmakers over the attack, which has been blamed on lax security installed by the State Department.
The New York Post called her concussion a 'head fake.' Florida Rep Allan West said Clinton had a case of the 'Benghazi flu,' while Fox News contributer Charles Krauthammer dubbed it an 'acute Benghazi allergy.'

Unlike many at this forum who think all of this is a conspriacy to keep her from testifying I say that is nonsense. Hillary is a trained professional liar and obfuscator and will have no problem cleaning the floor with these amateur RINOs. The dems will treat her gingerly and make the timid questioning by the RINOs look mean. It will be much ado about nothing. She will obfuscate, bob and weave, admit we should have done more, state we have learned lessons and not condescend to providing any useful information. We will never get the truth out of this administration.

Sounds absurd but they will try and the MSM will help. We now live in a alternate reality. I just hope one conservative at that hearing tells the plain truth and gets it into the record.

NOBODY with any sense should expect less from those cognizant of the games, the lies that Hillary has played throughout her career as a sham politician, thus will play again since she has never been jacked up against a wall for her lies. In the past her lies are either glossed over, or ignored, and the “smartest woman” continues on playing the World as though she’s a little girl making up scenarios, playing with her dolls.

Mary, they’d have to remove her brain and put it in the cranium of a freshly killed corpse. Perhaps they could use the body of Isabella Rosselini, or some other glamorous star.
