Hollywood A-listers called hypocrites on issue of gun violence in ‘Demand a Plan’ response video

Several big-name Hollywood stars appear in a new anti-gun public service YouTube video calling for Americans to demand that their elected officials come up with a strategy to curb gun violence.

In the video, A-listers like Cameron Diaz, Paul Rudd, and Chris Rock read the names of the sites of the most horrific gun massacres before calling on viewers to “demand a plan” to stop mass shootings.

But now a new video called “Demand a Plan – Demand Celebrities Go F*** Themselves” has been created that highlights the gun violence many of these same stars have taken part in in their movies and television shows.

The "Demand Celebrities" response video intersperses the original PSA with scenes of gun violence in movies starring the celebrities mentioned above, plus Jeremy Renner, Reese Witherspoon, Jamie Foxx, and many others.

It’s a great answer to their stupid hypocrit Video.

Ban all violence in Movies.

Lets watch as they squeal about that one.

Wasn’t it Jamie Foxx who said he loved making Django because he got to shoot white people? Maybe he would have loved killing white children in Connecticut.

Well, he gets a pass on this. I'm sure he was forgiven by his "Lord and Savior, Barack Obama."

I am noting the people in this video and have decided not to watch their movies. I am voting with my wallet.

Extremely poor, incredibly ignorant and entirely misses the point.

Not a good reply to the original, more like a false flag response created to preemptively suck the oxygen out Youtube before a meaningful response could be created.

Like I said yesterday everyone that sees this should send the video to their whole mailing list..I sent it to FOX yesterday others must have done the same....It amazes me how these freaks will make movies that I do not even watch because of all the violence and they make million's on said movie then go out and try to take our guns so we can't defend our family's from the same criminals these freaks portray in movies....

Leftist sheeperals aren’t all that “deep”, so they don’t even think about anything any deeper than how it makes them feel about themselves in the moment.

I think in addition to the standard rating, there should be a "Dead Body Count" following the rating.

Like: Kill Bill I - R95

“Demand a Plan” - I’ve got a plan!

Any individual who gets paid to participate in a display of violence involving firearms in a motion picture pays a 10% tax surcharge (over and above their normal income tax charge) on the money they’re paid for that flic.

Those funds would be set aside to provide firearms and firearms training for any schools that agree to participate in a program in which teachers would be given instruction in first response techniques in situations of on-site violence such as those at Sandy Hook or Columbine.

Well, I went and read it. A foolish proposition that fixes an imaginary problem.

Blaming todays problems on violence in movies or video games (video games ARE a problem due to a different but similar reason as what is often claimed) makes us all look like the provincial idiots that this arguement is intended to.

Good job promoting it here, youve earned your paycheck.

Dang! If only I could get paid to post on FR!

Agreed that it isn't really the root cause, but it sure would be fun to watch the Hollywood idjits squirm when it's their pocketbooks and their freedoms on the line!
