Moochelle has said that there is an obesity epidemic and kids don’t need sugar. So if you are buying candy for kids with EBT cards, moochelle is not gonna be happy wif you.
If you have one, you can only buy groceries and drinks with them.
I wonder where she got the notion its a debit card. People expect everything free in this country and on their list is a free iPad!
Hmmm.
You need to have $10,000 or less to qualify for food stamps and other government assistance.
If you do, the good news is you never have to file a tax return.
There are unhealthful snacks and, well, not-quite-so-unhealthful ones and even decent ones like fruits. Since I am from the Twinkee generation it is always a challenge to pass up the confectionary display (except as a rare treat). I really think it is the fructose in current snacks that is the real problem — the real sugar in the old days wasn’t any big deal (except maybe for the dentist).
I’m not sure if you are joking but actually there is no asset test in most all states. Still is an income test.
As this is a consequence of the 2008 Farm Bill I was wondering if the asset test would be re-implemented if there were no Farm Bill extension.
Again, are you being facetious?
The EBT card is actually both a SNAP card and a TANF debit card in most states. The debit card side may or may not have any benefits on it.
