Fox News Channels Sean Hannity predicted a Mitt Romney landslide in the presidential election. When that didnt happen, Hannitys audience abandoned him in droves. According to Nielson numbers, Hannity has lost about half of his audience since the election. This sort of drop is not unusual. News shows generally have higher ratings in the months leading up to elections. But compare Hannitys numbers to Fox colleague Bill OReillys. OReilly lost about 30 percent of his audience. Both Hannity and OReilly still have numbers that top 2 million viewers per night, so theyre still cable powerhouses. But Rachel Maddow on liberal MSNBC will now occasionally beat Hannity. This ratings reversal would have been unthinkable just a few months ago, when Hannity regularly had an audience two or even three times that of Maddows.

Thanks for reminding me about "F. Lee Levin" - HA!
I quit listening to talk radio almost completely since the election. Can’t stomach the thought of listening to the Same Old S#!+ for another four years. Democrats this and obama that, investigate, blah blah blah.
Besides that Hannity’s the worst and his stupid laugh makes me want to hurl. Don’t even get me started on his liberal guests...
I subscribed to the Blaze right after the election. I realized that I could no longer stomach Fox News. The news program that follows Beck’s nightly show is usually pretty good as well. I also like the fact that I can watch the shows when I want to, although I sometimes find it hard to get a connection (via my Roku box) for the nightly show while it is being broadcast live.
Seeing the disgusting election night performance on Fox news was the last straw for me.
That was the biggest part of my disgust on election night as well. While I wasn't thrilled with the rest of their "coverage," her act/schtick (whatever you want to call it) was over the top disgusting.
Same here. As an expert in Constitutional law, he is awesome!
I attended a speech of his and after his speech I asked him if he would autograph my CATO copy of the Constitution. He did and I squealed like a little girl all the way home!
I keep it at the lockbox at the bank!
bttt
You can pick him up at Mark Levin Show.com.
His live stream is 5 - 8 pm. central time. You can also get it on live at WABC radio, 77am in New York.
Enjoy!
Can you get BeckTv (The Blaze) with Apple TV ?
I have an older Mac which doesn’t work with Airplay and Parrot is buggy.
I am going to miss Boortz (retiring) and Car Talk(retiring).
As for radio hosts, the only ones left with listenable intelligence are Dennis Prager, Rush, Mark Steyn, and Mark Levin.
Urbanski was interesting. Like Roger Hedgecock a lot. Would like to listen to Monica Crowley’s radio show. Mike McConnell is good, but the new Chicago format seems to have changed him. Like Joe Paggs too.
Have not tuned into Fox since the election. Only show I miss is Wall Street Journal Editorial Report. Liked the Saturday morning business shows too.
And it has never claimed to be "a conservative news station".
I used to watch and listen to them all. Often now it is only Mark Levin.
Sometimes I TIVO Hannity because it might be good, but I end of not watching it and canceling it out - for every Hannity I've recorded!
So now I don't even TIVO it.
I’m not sure on the Apple TV, I never had one. I assume that it is a hardware box that enables you to view streaming content on a TV, if that is the case I would think that you could do it.
I never heard Prager’s radio show, I actually did hear him as a guest on Monica Crowley’s show when he had a book out recently. I really only make an effort to try to listen to Levin at this point in time. I’ll tune in to listen to Rush if it is convenient or I am driving.
From what I understand almost all of the talk shows have some kind of “podcast” or streaming audio available for their shows. I know that isn’t as convenient as being able to flip on the radio in your car or elsewhere unless you have one of those portable devices like an iPod or something. I don’t have one of those devices so I am stuck with the AM/FM radio bands or XM if I am in the shop.
Hannity’s biggest problem, and one he cannot overcome, is that he is not particularly bright. Listening to Rush, and Levin especially, these guys are intellegent and always come up with a different slant on the news and politics.
To me, Hannity is sort of the populist yapper for the casual political junkie.
He’s not a deep thinker.
I watch Greta more often now even though her thick headedness sometimes drives me nuts and she is more Liberal. At least she usually has only one guest and tries to carry on a conversation and lets the guest talk. She also has on a lot more Conservatives than Hannity. It is now a much more interesting show.
Hannity has jumped the shark with his new format. It is too frustrating listening to it. You always want to smack somebody up side of the head - especially Juan Williams or the fat guy with the red suspenders (can't remember his name) and the large numbers of ill informed, blabbermouthed, socially obnoxious Liberals who are just rude and in-your-face. Consequently, there is no genuine "discussion" - just ranting. I find it neither entertaining nor informative. If I wanted to listen to lies all night, I would go to MSDNC or CNN.
O'Reilly is simply a blowhard. He can't keep his mouth shut, constantly talks over his guests, and is on the wrong side of the issues about half the time. He is also surprisingly shallow and uninformed on many things.
Whorealdo? Unwatchable. Totally. OFF.
Judge Jeanine? Frankly, she is my favorite. She has knowledgeable guests whom she lets discuss and she delves deeply into important topics. Unlike the rest, her program doesn't skip all over the map every time it's on and has substance.
On the whole, FOX evening programming is much less watchable than even a year or two ago.
Sadly, it is live but it’s JD Hayworth.
At least Mark will be back tomorrow night. Less than 24 hours away.
That "laugh" is so phony. He's trying to sound like "The Happy Warrior", when you can see the anger in is eyes. It's so contrived.
Roy Masters and Dennis Prager are the best!
