Exactly. Considering that the Pub leverage was minimal, I believe they did better than I expected they could in getting some concessions. It could have been a lot worse.

Let's face it, Obama won, democraps gained in senate & house. Like you said, it could have been lot worse. I bet some of the same people who stayed home on election day are now shouting the loudest against this bill. Next time get out and vote even if the nominee is not your first choice, as Romney was not mine. But I held my nose and voted. It was disgraceful that Romney received less votes than McCain. Now Obama is in charge, and he can do what he wants, so get used to it.
