Sans this FC bill, your heirs would be paying 55% over $1 million in total assets for death tax. Now it is $10 million exemption for a married couple at 40% rate. That will save millions of small businesses from folding shop upon death of owner. Better yet, the exemption amount is indexed to inflation.
