Are you sure the Bush middle class tax rates were made permanent ? I read earlier that only the new higher top tax rates were being made permanent.
Yes, they are now Permanent in the sense when Bush signed them in law, it was written to expire in 2010. It got a temporary extension of 2 years.
The new FC law has NO EXPIRATION DATE. That does not mean future politicians can’t change it.
