The House of Representatives late Tuesday easily approved emergency bipartisan legislation sparing all but a sliver of Americas richest from sharp income tax hikes -- while setting up another fiscal cliff confrontation in a matter of weeks.
Lawmakers voted 257-167 to send the compromise to President Barack Obama to sign into law. Eighty-five Republicans and 172 Democrats backed the bill, which had sailed through the Senate by a lopsided 89-8 margin shortly after 2 a.m. Opposition comprised 151 Republicans and 16 Democrats.
Republican House Speaker John Boehner voted in favor of the deal, as did House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, his party's failed vice presidential candidate. But Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy voted against it.

If u have not noticed, she is already in.
The RaTs were the huge majority in tonight’s vote.
Bonehead may be speaker, but Pelosi runs this house.
“The underground economy is the best bet.”
That is what is enveloping northern NJ (as Americans flee and are replaced by foreign “others”); cash businesses function with no documented workers (or inspections), people pay cash to live in illegal apartments (carved out of houses that formerly housed American families of 6-8 people), and the Meadowlands Flea Market sells groceries (including lobster) for cash.
It is a recipe for disaster; the area is starting to look like the countries our illegal aliens fled.
Nothings permanent. They can say what ever they want.
They have kicked the can down the road again.
Communist Victory File.
FU Boehner. I will absolutely donate to whoever runs against you. Count yourself on the same list Cantor.
You stooping bastuhds. you played brinkmanship with the poor and the middle class.
You are the worst negotiators. You don’t fold tent and pretend that is a position of negotiation. You sit across from each other and give and take but you just had pretend you were men of principle.
Morons. Many of my friends had the worst sales for December due to a substantial number of shoppers holding off on spending because of theuuncertainty you injected into the economy.
Guess what? They don’t get a do over.
FAGS.
Oh, the GOP will SAY they are permanent, but I’ve heard obama, and members of the rats, say that more tax increases are on the way, once the sequestration talks begin. obama himself said he won’t cut anything without more tax increases to “pay off the debt”.
Pelosi House Rats Pass this bill. Why is Bonehead even speaker?
Looks like Pelosi runs the house.

tweet that idiot boner , tell him he just voted for a marxist progressive tax to avoid a fake news media cliff
or just tell him he sux
No, losing members and losing the majority means they’ll have less power to sell to K street, or to enjoy in any way.
Today's Boneless Wonders are called 'Republicans'.
Boehner is a used car salesman. A smirking swarmy scumbag. You could see it in his eyes when he was walking down the hall in front of cameras. Bought off....we are sold out. Bloodless coup.

Pelosi never raised income tax rates and capital gains tax rates. Pelosi never raised the debt ceiling by $2.5 trillion either.
The House will be weaker as of THIS year?
ROFLOL!
Their position has been “bend over” since, I don’t know 1984?
Apropos
Your pelosi will take care of you with their gun control and flooding you with a hundred million illegals , enjoy her since you want her
I gave up the republican party in 2006 when they insisted on amnesty for illegals. This is frustrating, angering, but not unexpected. Primary all their worthless asses out of office.
I never said I wanted her. I simply pointed out that Boehner is no better.
In March, the Republican House members should simply refuse to act, sending the expense side of sequestration over the cliff. That will reduce expenses by $3 trillion over ten years versus the revenue increase of $600 billion. The House can authorize emergency funds for the military from time to time.
So the solution is simple for the Republicans: just do nothing.
