Most Newtown’ers are probably not amused by this Pinsky clown’s legal antics. ~$100M = Newtown’s annual budget, which was a hotly contested issue earlier this year (it took 4 referendum votes to finally/barely pass).

I suspect sane people (are there many left) shamed these parents by saying you got more than a million already,, You go to keep your daughter, you greedy pig.Zing....right to the heart of the matter.
Great post and a very happy New Year to you, Hildy ;)

$100mm? Kid was “traumatized by hearing...”
BD.
What about the 20 dead children and 6 adults?
To: Mouton
For about 93% of them, anyway. I know some very Conservative attys who would be well-worth keeping.

"I only did this once in my checkered legal career, but it was sure a whole lot of fun, and my client got all his legal fees back from the plaintiff's attorney and his client, which pleased him greatly. And of course it made the front page of the local paper and shamed the plaintiff's attorney (to the extent that such creatures are capable of feeling shame)."
You are now one of my favorite people.

Last lawyer I knew like Pinsky is living on the government dime in a federal pen. They may be good at lawyering but are basically such greedy, bottom-feeder people, they eventually get themselves into messes they can’t get out of.

Suing was the wrong thing to do, and the tasteless way to do it.

What about the 20 dead children and 6 adults?
If I was the spouse of one of the 6 adults killed I would bring the lawsuit. They sacrificed their lives trying to protect those children. All they had was their bodies and no firearm to use to stop the slaughter.

Temporary change of mind, based upon "new evidence on security at the school..." Or a case of temporary sanity... Meanwhile- has anyone noticed how completely this story has dropped from national news? Weren't the police close to explaining the motive as far as they understood...and discussing the evidence they found?

The criminal pols and corrupt media don’t want to hear anything further; their socialist/fascist objective of “gun control” and “AWB” is now fully-underway and will be ripping America apart.
THAT WAS THEIR AGENDA. THEY WERE HAPPY THIS MASSACRE HAPPENED. ITS TIMING WAS PERFECT TO GET THINGS UNDERWAY.
I truly believe that; sad to say...

LOLOLOLOLMAO! THAT’s funny!
I remember a couple of slip-and-fall dirtbags from 1971 in Haight-Ashbury, who traveled around in a psychedelic-painted VW MicroBus, w/ tye-dyed curtains and a loudspeaker on top, drumming-up lawsuits from aggrieved hippies and suing SF to-death, every day. It unfolded into a camper awning with their ‘business desk’ and law degrees hung on the the 2 side doors. What a trip.
