I smoke in MY house that belongs to me and not a mortgage company and my Ruger with the red laser affirms my right to smoke in MY house. That is the end of this story and the end of any person who tries to stop me smoking in MY house.

I hear you. Neighbor's girlfriend stopped by yesterday afternoon, and I invited her in because it was a little chilly yesterday, and she held up her cigarette and said "I'm smoking"
HAR! She got to sit inside a mostly warm house and smoke her cigarette.
The law can stuff it, if they think I'm going to quit smoking in the house before I die. I may continue to smoulder for a while after I'm dead, depending on the circumstances.

I smoke in MY house that belongs to me and not a mortgage company I smoked for 50 years and then quit about 5 years ago, yeah, that's right, I'm old.
Over the years I watched relatives and friends quit and the first thing they did after quitting was to ban smoking in their houses. Their right to be sure but it always seemed sanctimonious to me.
As a result Marcella, if you ever visit my home, you may be sure, I'll have an ash tray out for you.
P.S. My wife and I don't drink either but we have a modest supply of liquor, for those who do.
