The privileged daughter of a prominent city doctor, and her boyfriend a Harvard grad and Occupy Wall Street activist have been busted for allegedly having a cache of weapons and a bombmaking explosive in their Greenwich Village apartment.
Morgan Gliedman who is nine-months pregnant and her baby daddy, Aaron Greene, 31, also had instructions on making bombs, including a stack of papers with a cover sheet titled, The Terrorist Encyclopedia, sources told The Post yesterday.
People who know Greene say his political views are extreme, the sources said.

If I were a betting man, I’d wager that both of them supported Obama.
Other than the white powder and the possible credit card fraud, is any of that illegal?
Sounds like offsprings from the Weather Underground of the 60s. They blew up a townhouse with most of them in it, accidently, around 69 or 70. No loss.
I am certainly no sympathizer with them but a shotgun, ammo, high cap magazines, and a flare gun are not illegal. Even the books, if unused, are not illegal. Scary to think of how stories can be dramatized Of course the actual bomb powder is really illegal, if they are not licensed.
Yes, too bad all of the Weathermen/women weren’t atomized along with their martyred cohorts. Aren’t they precious? And their favorite trained monkey now occupies the WH for another four years. Pathetic. Wake up America, it’s getting way too late.
Is it too much to ask the reporter to “report” what they were charged with?
Even if they were licensed to mfg explosives, their improper storage would be illegal.
They call a flare gun and a 12 gauge shotgun a “cache of weapons”?
They’d have a cow if they ever got into some FReepers’ homes.
I was working over in Newark when that happened....partied for two days afterward. The absolute best result is they took no innocent people with them on their blast to hell.
Too bad the two bimbos who survived were never executed.
This is the New York media we are talking about.
I remember a similar story (no explosives or books) about 25 years ago where they breathlessly reported the man had multiple sniper rifles that could be used from his high-floor city apartment.
They were two scoped hunting rifles, a Marlin lever action and a Remington 700.
A detective discovered a plastic container with seven grams of a white chemical powder called HMTD, which is so powerful, cops evacuated several nearby buildings.
Police also found a flare launcher, which is a commercial replica of a grenade launcher; a modified 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun; ammo; and nine high-capacity rifle magazines, the sources said.
Cops also allegedly uncovered papers about creating homemade booby traps, improvised submachine guns, and various handwritten notebooks containing chemical formulas.
The Mossberg is probably illegal in NYC unless she has a permit. I think that the magazines (sans rifle) are probably illegal, too. (Although under the David Gregory "elite liberal" exemption, maybe not.)
If the question is, "Was there much of a chance that she might actually do some harm with this stuff?", I'd guess she and her Harvard hubby were being fashionably Radical Chic and probably not.
Ayres and Dhorn redux!
I won’t stick up for any OWS activist, let them get life for having too many self striking matcheads.
another baby for Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn to adopt

This is absolutely a story that could have been ripped out of the NY Post in 1968 with absolutely no difference. The spoiled, alienated children of the well-to-do building bombs in a Greenwich Village townhouse.
Scary how history sometimes repeats itself down to the very last detail.
