Obama: ‘I Cut Spending by Over a Trillion Dollars in 2011’

A trillion? That hardly amounts to a number these days. Why not a Gazillion or a Bazillion?!? Pfff....

Question for Obama:

Mr President you often say our fiscal crises was caused by the Bush tax cuts, two unfunded wars, and prescription drug coverage under Medicare. If that is true how do you explain the fact that revenues to the federal government were the highest in history in 2007, and that our deficit that year was only 10% of the average of all deficits during your first term?

This is where the Speaker of the House should be demanding a full mental evaluation of the President because he continually goes public with these fairy tales. Of course, with BooBoo as Speaker, it'll never happen.

And David Gregory was too (your choice: stupid, uninformed, in-the-tank, enamored, groveling, lap dog, all the above) to follow up with an informed question.

Actually, this tactic — calling spending increases lower than some projection conjured out of dubious assumptions by one or more Federal agencies a “cut” — suggests to me a compromise for the “fiscal cliff”:

Give Obama everything he wants on the fiscal cliff issues except unilateral power to raise the debt ceiling in exchange for 1. abolishing the AMT (not adjusting the parameters, just outright abolishing it) and 2. abolishing all statutory authority and budgeting for agencies to do the calculations needed for baseline budgeting. Henceforth a spending cut must mean spending less than you used to, and any spending in amounts greater than the prior year for any purpose is a spending increase.

. However, the White House Office of Management and Budget says that federal spending increased by $147 billion from fiscal 2010 to fiscal 2011.
No word from NBC about that, your hunger pains are only in your mind logic.

Only his desciples believe him, but as evidenced on November 6, 2012, that was enough. he voters had a choice to make between slavery to the Government and the ability to make individual choices[freedom]. They chose slavery. They sowed to the wind and will reap the whirlwind.

"Save"= I didn't spend. For instance, new progessive Commies, As in:

"I didn't have fifteen trillion to spend THEREFORE I SAVED fifteen trillion and saved the new CPUSA. I mean all fifty-seven Islamic states, I mean the spotted owl; well that too.( Psssst how many states are in this constitution?...*badda bing*)"

Never even took economics in college except all the math classes, but alas this kinda poop was mocked but going on in the more "philosophical" classes and clubs at Peoples Republic of Berkeley when I was there in the late 70's early 80's. Buncha anti-social justice nincompoops
