Just so you know, the disposal of the drug containers that Warfarin and its generic, Coumadin, are dispensed in are considered hazardous waste. They require hazardous waste management.

My husband was on Coumadin for 17 yrs. because he had an artificial aortic valve. I always threw the container the pills came in into our garbage.
