I have been looking or a book about the French Resistance. It seems that the lone wolves did pretty well and ones who went to the meetings soon figured out there were as many or more agent provocateurs as there were patriots. All too late of course.

Anyone have a suggestion on books?

Unintended Consequences by John Ross. You might hear the name Henry Bowman mentioned from time to time on this site — he’s the central character in the novel. No, it’s not French. No, it’s not about WWII. True, it’s only a novel. Still, it is an interesting read about a man who decided he had had enough and wanted to fight back.
