You really think those civ union jobs/rules/contracts are any different when working for/with the mil than any other branch of govt? Really?
I'm a DoD contractor with private company. I've observed multiple projects that took years to assemble the technology and subject matter experts. Getting clearances and authorization of the military customer was also a lengthy process. The project was bearing fruit when Obama arrived on the scene. Instant collapse. Technology. People. It isn't the kind of thing handled by union dolts who sit around drinking coffee and warming seats. There was no fat in the staffing. We all worked excessively long days to make the work a success.
There were few civilians associated with the tasking.
