New York Times columnist David Brooks made an astonishing observation about President Obama on NBC's Meet the Press Sunday.

I agree. Mark Steyn is about the closest we have in regards to quick-witedness and pure intellect. If only he would be able to more readily couch his observations of contemporary issues in the context of traditional Judeo-Christian morality, I would consider him the full equal of Chesterton of Lewis.
Yes, he has. It's hard to believe he's gotten this far but he has pushed the envelope too far to ever come back. Extremes can't be maintained indefinitely. His game has to dissolve or break apart at some point or else cause and effect have ceased to exist.
