These stupid petitions are just a distraction. An opium for the masses.

OK genius; got a better suggestion to vent frustrations and cope with the inability effectively to neutralize the freight train to totalitarianism?

We are told what to eat, what not to eat, can't smoke any more unless you are a union member and make 330k a year, drinking is out for a plethora of reasons; few can afford recreational driving, now; soon we won't even be able to drink milk!

Sometimes, the opiate of the masses is all that's left.

“vent frustrations and cope with the inability”

Well. That’s pathetic.

Sign away, Einstein. One of these days we “dumbass non-venters” will look around and ask, “where did all those cool whiteyhut petition signers go?”.

I understand the frustration, but nothing is going to come of the petitions other than have a bunch of lefties sit around and laugh at all the peasants signing meaningless petitions. I confess to not having a solution other than stock up and get ready for a bumpy ride.
