I wouldn’t have published the info for the guy who made the interactive map. He’s likely just some poor schmuck who was given the task and had no input on whether to run the story or not.
The editor’s info definitely deserves to be out there. I’m not so sure about the writer. The story could have been his idea, in which case, yes, publish his info. He could have been assigned the story and been thrilled to do it - again, publish his info. It’s possible (though unlikely) that he was assigned the story, fought against doing it, and was told to get out there and do it anyway. If that’s the case, it’s too bad his info got out there too.
