CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy says the city has logged its 500th homicide of the year.
McCarthy issued a statement Friday calling the milestone a "tragic number that is reflective of the gang violence and proliferation of illegal guns that have plagued some of our neighborhoods."

For future reference, the trick I’ve found is to search for one key word in the article title, like “homicides” in this article’s title, for example.
The search is one of several things that needs development here. I hate using Google when I really want to find something.

Me, too. I don’t understand why anyone gets upset that an article has been posted more than once. Who cares? If you’ve already seen it, keep scrolling. Some people are wound way too tight!

I did a search for a thread I posted in 07 using a word in the title with no results found. I did the same search using one keyword search and it was at the top of the list
