An Oregon woman who found a Chinese laborer's plea for help hidden in a box of Halloween decorations says she thinks the letter, which describes brutal conditions inside a work camp, is authentic.
Julie Keith, 42, of Portland, bought a Halloween graveyard kit from Kmart last year and tucked it away in a storage box. When she opened the kit this October, she found the letter tucked in between two Stryofoam headstones.

But, which days do they traditionally take off?
Cheap because American laws have made it essentially illegal for enterprising Americans to produce and manufacture profitably.
If laws were pruned back to the place where free Americans could engage in free commerce, whether it was growing and selling their own food from front gardens, to to buying a boat and venturing forth to be a commercial fisherman, or to be a doctor, or a stay-at-home mom, or anything productive and lucrative -- as free self-directed people have the God given right to pursue ..... the market for cheap slave-made Chinese crap would evaporate.
And here we see at what cost, what evil cost, liberalism entails.
Throw off the coat of government tyranny and watch American goodness and productivity blossom, and deprive the Chinese communists of the present colusion liberalism has manipulated the American people into.
It can be free, alright -- but if it's not ethical, it won't last.
As this whole thread reveals -- the word "unsustainable" comes to mind, the darling of environmentalists, the idea that an energy or textiles or food source must be regulated to be "sustainable." Bamboo is the current fad "sustainable" because it grows so fast. Well, communism is the textbook example of unsustainable, dead-end.
Communism is self-defeating, doomed to failure, mathematically, because human nature is what it is. What they want to trade they produce cheap because they value life cheap. They will ultimately fail.
Human slavery has been exported to China via Marxism.
