Other articles have been posted on this, but I loved the headline word:

"Defies"

If I were a hobbyist I would buy from these people. They have 60,000 items in:

Arts | Cards & Party | Crafts | Fabric | Floral | Frames | Hobbies | Home Accents | Jewelry | Needle Art | Papercrafting | Seasonal | Wearables | Wedding

Their website: http://hobbylobby.com/

Their Mardel Book Store division has

Bibles | Books | Music | Video | Apparel | Education | Gifts | Homeschool | Kids | Church Supply | Bargains

Their website: http://www.mardel.com/

I know you're all spent out from Christmas, but please keep thise people in mind for birthdays, books, HOMESCHOOLING SUPPLIES!

I would think that with all the religious exemptions for Muslims in the law, that an honest court system would have granted the exemption. Oh. That’s the problem.

I’m going to make it a point to give the Hobby Lobby near me as much business as possible.

In ruling against the companies last month, U.S. District Judge Joe Heaton said churches and other religious organizations have been granted constitutional protection from the birth-control provisions but that "Hobby Lobby and Mardel are not religious organizations."

So individuals don't qualify for 1st Amendment protections? How Soviet of you, Comrade Heaton.

I drove by one yesterday. I really don’t frequent them or any of their competitors, but I need to go in and find *something* I can buy from those guys.

A lot more companies are going to have to get a spine and stand of to the Food Stamp President. If enough refuse to provide the abortion stuff, drop health care or just flood the courts with suits there is a chance that the law will be nullified.

The actual remedy is simple.

Offer a 100% employee paid additional group plan only for birth control issues.

So, our North Bridge in Concord will be Hobby Lobby’s defiance. May God let it be the “shot heard around the world.” God bless them. They have my prayers and continued business.

Sounds like Hobby Lobby hasn’t lined the right pockets. I’m sure a few donations to the DNC would allow Sotomayor and Sebelius to reconsider their decisions.

Hobby Lobby is not just for women. There’s some cool stuff for dudes. For one, if you have a young boy doing Cub Scouts, there’s a section for Pinewood Derby cars. In fact, that’s why I went into our local Hobby Lobby to begin with. There’s a whole lot of models, toy trains, science experiments, wood working, rockets, and arts and crafts.

I shopped at Hobby Lobby today.

No one is saying that abortionists, gays, lesbians, or democrats are not allowed to shop at Hobby Lobby.

What is being said is that Hobby Lobby is a privately owned business that it will offer coverage for what it deems within its guiding principles or its corporate best interest.

It is not within its guiding principles or its corporate best interest to offer abortion inducing or fertilized egg destroying drugs or procedures to its employees.

There is no compelling reason that an individual cannot buy his/her own contraception coverage if that is what they desire to buy. And, in a free market, as we are told this is, there is no reason that like-minded people cannot group together to buy this coverage on their own or that some entrepreneur will see a goldmine and set about establishing a centralized buy location.

Sadly, there is not a Hobby Lobby near where I live, or I’d spend a lot of time there!
