A heavyset Hispanic woman seen by five witnesses pacing and mumbling to herself pushes a helpless man in front of an oncoming Flushing-bound No. 7 train in Queens. She was caught on tape while fleeing the crime scene: police. A MAN WAITING for an approaching No. 7 train in Queens died a gruesome death Thursday night when a young woman darted up behind the helpless straphanger and pushed him onto the tracks, police said.
The unidentified victim was crushed by the first and second cars of the Flushing-bound train about 8 p.m, as his murderer hustled down the stairs of the elevated station at the 40th St./Lowery St. stop in Sunnyside and fled in an unknown direction on Queens Blvd.
The suspect, described by police as a heavyset Hispanic woman in her 20s, was still at large as of early Friday.

40th St. Flushing bound platform at 8PM....very few people.
Bench is near stairs, perp could have been out of sight in seconds.
Once the perp hit the mezzanine level, several different routes are available with no sight lines from foot of platform stairs.
Just how familiar with 7 line elevated stations are you?
>>Time to bring back asylums...

YES, YES, YES.
Sure glad I live in the WILD WEST, wide open spaces, fresh air which allow us to think quickly and react.
Too I live in a Right to Work state, lol, so we would be allowed to assist.
Inside the car, I assume they hold on to strap while they stand, but outside on the dock how does that apply?
The should start rounding up hispanic gangs...this could very well be a gang initiation.
zactly what I was thinking....
The people that use the subways are nicknamed straphangers. It goes way back to when they had leather straps to grab on to that were suspended from the ceilings of the old subway cars.
It’s just generic for a subway rider.
It’s just generic for a subway rider.
Just my two cents:
All those calling for us to start “dealing” with our mentally ill...be careful what you wish for. While I agree that the state of psychiatric care in this country is woefully inept, let’s not rush to lock up all the suppposed psychos. Be careful who you label as crazy lest you empower people to turn the tables on you. Remember all the media spin “crazy tea-partiers” “right wing wackos” “conservative radicals” and on & on. I shudder to think of the day when we can all be legitimately incarcerated once the gov deems we all have a mental illness.
Furthermore, this crime does not appear randon to me. I smell something more along the lines of a gang initiation. Our problems in this country are due to a secular-humanist, morally relativistic way of thinking. We have a severe spiritual illness, not necessarily just a “mental illness”
Flame away....I’m sure people won’t like my opinion but so be it.
Perhaps a good start would be to register all Latinas, or those exhibiting Latina characteristics. Later, house to house confiscation can begin.
Thanks to all of you.
At least the train wasn’t manufactured by Glock.
7 line trains were made by Bombardier.
No, I understand, I posted something similar on a local forum this morning. While it’s too bad that the libs closed the insane asylums, it’s a little too scary in this day and age to “assume” it could be righted. Instead, some lib who was mad could turn us into the CPS-equivalent. Or, have the jackboot Ninjas come kick in our doors and kill everything moving. In my ideal world, the truly mentally ill would be institutionalized, but I guess we’re never going back to those days now...
kitkat ~ YES, YES, YES.
I'm sure Bill Ayers would love to run a Soviet-style psych hospital for people who are crazy enough to dislike Obama...
Silly, trains don't kill people -- people kill people!
