Exclusive: Robert Ringer seeks ways to get through to the redistribution-minded
While driving into D.C. last week, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh expound on an important issue that I dont believe many pro-liberty people give much thought to. He said that low-information voters present a serious problem because there is no way to reach people who are uninformed. Worse, most of these people dont like conservatives or libertarians.
No doubt about it, Rush has zeroed in on the crux of the problem when it comes to the decline and fall of the American Empire. How in the world do you reach people who not only are devoid of knowledge, but, in addition, dont like the very people who have the information they so desperately need?
Worse, low-information voters are attracted to slogans, catchwords and fact-free propaganda the more outrageous, the better. They are drawn to gobbledygook like pay your fair share, social justice and shared prosperity because such nonsense requires no thinking and thus is easily digested by the brain.
Weve all seen the random street interviews with people who have no clue about the national debt, Benghazi-gate, Obamacare, or even the difference between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. These hollowheads know nothing about Barack Obamas radical socialist past or that he has never been vetted by the media. They know only that he has a great smile, tells them he will make the rich pony up a still larger share of their ill-gotten gains and promises to give them evermore free stuff.
In his newest book, Robert Ringer goes to bat for the most maligned and beleaguered individuals in America. Dont miss The Entrepreneur: The Way Back for the U.S. Economyronic toys.

I've just begun my reading on the Roman Empire, but I believe you are correct. I think one of the reasons that it could last that long was because the Roman Empire was increasing in size and for a very long time.
As neighboring provinces were conquered, the inhabitants were often enslaved (those not executed), the mobile assets were taken as plunder to Rome, and the land was granted to Roman citizens. As long as this was occuring, bread and circuses could be afforded by the central government.
The U.S. is not a growing empire. We are losing jobs to third-world nations because we demand a standard-of-living which is not justified by our productivity. We export a great deal of our wealth to oil-rich nations rather than exploit our own resources intelligently.
We have greated an under-class of people addicted to entitlements and with no skills to sell whatever.
For these and similar reasons, I believe that we will see the end sooner rather than later.
You can hope. I can and do hope but I realize it’s probably too late. As of November 2012 it’s clear the stupid vote is the majority. They are not going to elect anyone who says they will take away the stupids right to vote. Buckle your seatbelt because the ride is going to get bumpy.
Oh, and buy guns and ammo. When stupid’s EBT card quits working he’s gonna get pretty desperate. I recommend:
High power, long range scoped bolt action rifle in something like .308, 30-06, 7mm Magnum, or .338 Lapua. I have a Savage 10FP in .308 with a 6-24x50 Vortex Viper PST scope.
AR-15 in 5.56
12 gauge combat shotgun. The Marines like the Benelli M4. Because they’re pretty expensive I have a Mossberg 930 SPX that has been flawless through several hundred rounds.
semi-automatic pistol in self defense caliber (nothing under 9 mm). I have a Glock 22 in .40 caliber and a Springfield Armory TRP in .45. The .45 is great shooter but in SHTF situation I am wearing the Glock for the 15 round magazine capacity.
The quick-witted response is, the Demwits manage to. The real answer is another question — why are the low-information? Do they choose to be? The members of my family who are straight-ticket Demwits and will be ‘til the day they die and I inherit everything are all low-information, with one of the caring liberal relatives referring to the fleeting news story about GHW Bush by saying, “I don’t care about him” and going back to her so-called smart phone.
Thanks Perseverando.
I don't think that would make any difference. The MSM will just excoriate them to no end, and the low info peeps will believe the lies.
I just wish we had reps with spine, character and clever candidness, ala Reagan. He could unspin the MSM crapola better than most. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if even Reagan could fend off the salacious media of today.
