Notre Dame Fans Continue To Trash Alabama With Offensive National Championship T-Shirts

In the month leading up to Notre Dame's first trip to the national championship game in more than two decades, Irish faithful have created a series of T-shirts bashing their opponent, Alabama.
Notre Dame is winning the trash-talking battle with the series of racy shirts, but the last thing Notre Dame needs is to provide a feisty Crimson Tide team and fan base with any source of motivation before the game.
Maybe Alabama will take the shirts for their comedic value.
Eleven days to the BCS National Championship game:
Former Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen drew criticism from the public less than two weeks ago when he tweeted out a photo of this shirt:
And here's the latest pro-Notre Dame shirt:

Well I really don’t like Notre Dame that much so I am all for Alabama showing them some manners.
Considering Bama’s Center is injured and not practicing yet, I am a bit nervous about how Bama will perform. Hopefully, Barrett will be ready to play.
I honestly know very little about the personnel on either team. I know Mike Golic has a couple of kids at Notre Dame. I hope the game is entertaining and close for the sake of the national audience.
Hubby tells me not to worry about Center because the freshman backup has been practicing every day and is reportedly ready to play and has been all season. He did play in a lot of games this season when the starters were pulled out. He even made the freshman ALL-SEC team. But still. Barrett has started for four years at different positions. But we will see. I would like to see two teams play their best game of the season, but it doesn’t usually happen that way.
Catholic here. “Roll Tide!”
This Texas A&M alumni is hoping Alabama wins this game by at least 50 points.
'Cause we already beat Alerbamer ...
At least we can tell which ones are the heifers.
Amen Cook! Roll Tide!
Do tell! I never heard the poisoned trees story. Go Irish!
The insanity that is college football in the state of Alabama reached a new nadir this week, as an Alabama fan has admitted to using a powerful herbicide to kill cherished 130-year-old oak trees on the campus of arch rival Auburn. University officials announced that soil tests had revealed that a "lethal dose" of tebuthiuron had been spread around the live oaks at Toomer's Corner, a popular spot on the Auburn campus where fans often gather to celebrate momentous events (like the Tigers' recent BCS Championship victory last month, above.) The poisoning was discovered after a Crimson Tide fan called Paul Finebaum's popular sports talk radio show to brag about murdering the beloved oak trees, as revenge for the Tigers' Iron Bowl victory this season. He ended the call by saying, "Roll Damn Tide." Experts said that the poison was registered at a minimum of 0.78 parts per million, which is a very lethal dose and as high as 51 parts per million. There is no danger to humans, but officials are worried it could spread through the soil to other plants and trees on campus. Tebuthiuron use is monitored by the FDA. Even some Alabama fans think this goes too far, which is saying something, given the state's outrageous devotion to SEC football. "Even some Alabama fans . . . " Really? Some?
“What you accuse with respect to liberalism and secularization is also true of almost every other university in the country. Try Princeton, Harvard, Stanford . . . . But we don’t condemn the whole cloth at such schools.”
Speak for yourself. Many of us are sick at heart about what cesspools these once-great institutions have become.
I really don't care about the success that Notre Shame may have achieved in whoring after the approval of the world at the expense of the souls of its students and of the reputation of the Church itself since Notre Shame is sold to the gullible as a Catholic institution when the better description is secular humanist. Notre Shame is an ongoing scandal and running lesion since the days of Hesburgh.
George Gipp is dead. Knute Rockne is dead. Neither Ronald Reagan nor Pat O'Brian attend or are employed by Notre Shame. They are both dead as well. Jimmy Cagney had nothing to do with. Notre Shame.
Notre Shame was built with the money of actual Catholics (i.e. unlike Notre Shame's modernist administrators), hard-working militant Catholics who sacrificed financially to fund what they had hoped would be a first rate AND thoroughly Catholic institution. Notre Shame and its apologists got carried away with themselves even before Hesburgh and exercised the absolute hubris of calling Notre Shame the Catholic Yale of the Midwest. It never was a Yale or a Harvard or a Princeton or even a Stanford and it never will be. It used to be somewhat Catholic but not in the last 50-60 years when it has been a bastion of anti-Catholicism staking a false claim to be still Catholic.
BTW, Boston College and Georgetown and many other "Catholic" schools are no better. Just more examples of grand theft academic by leftists and social revolutionaries in Roman collars playing make-believe Catholic. When the Vatican gets done with the revolutionary leftist nuns of LCWR, the "Catholic" universities and colleges in the USA should be next. Boston College has referred coeds to abortion mills when the infamous Bernard Cardinal Law was Archbishop of Boston and Law covered for BC and refused to allow the story to be published in his archdiocesan paper.
I cannot imagine what my "particular focus on gay people" may be, but the Church teaches that homosexual activity is "intrinsically disordered." Does Notre Shame teach that and act accordingly? Of course not! Notre Shame is politically correct to a fault (in fact, to many faults).
That Jenkins creature who is Notre Shame's president posing as a priest ordered the arrest of the saintly late Fr. Norman U. Weslin for the horrible crime against the Notre Shame ethos of carrying a plywood cross onto the campus in protest of Obozo being honored by Jenkins and Notre Shame.
Fr. Weslin was a friend and he was a client of mine years ago in the Northeast when he was repeatedly arrested for interfering with the grisly business of abortion mills. When Fr. Weslin was working for Mother Teresa in New York and being arrested in abortion mills and jailed pre-trial in about half the states in this nation and at the abortion known as Notre Shame, the Jenkins creature was lounging around in comfort selling out the Faith.
The Jenkins creature was repeatedly petitioned on behalf of Fr. Weslin and other arrestees from Obozo Day at Notre Shame to communicate to South Bend prosecutors that the charges be dropped. He refused to cooperate. These requests came from the handful of remaining actual Catholics in or near Notre Shame such as retired law professor Charles Rice.
As to Notre Shame football, they can take the leis, the tears, the cheers and the rest of the flapdoodle and stuff them where the sun shineth not.
As an American of Irish ancestry (grandmother from Cork), I would appreciate it if Notre Shame would stop claiming some relationship with the Irish and take a more descriptive name: The Fighting Heretics or The Fighting Nones. Our Lady must weep over this abomination of a university which abuses her name as well. Also, don't blame the pope for Notre Shame's abominations. Instead, pray that he intervene with maximum discipline against Notre Shame's powers and principalities that be.
May the Crimson Tide roll over Notre Shame!
Of course, none of the foregoing may affect your curious and sentimentalist fantasy as to Notre Shame. In that event, enjoy the Kool Aid dished out by Jenkins and his fellow monsters.
It was not about the football game it was about the crass remarks.
I've been to South Bend many times. Trust me, the intellectual differentiation between the schools is FAR less than you presume.
Really? If the schools weren't to meet in a football GAME, there would be no remarks. Most people could care less about the GAME, the schools involved or the remarks. Lighten up, Frances/Francis.
No thanks. It is not about football and you know it, so you lighten up.
Delusional. ND would have finished 4th in the SEC West, if they actually played in a real conference.
However, I can see why you might think they are lightning unleashed, given the teams they’ve played so far. After all, they do qualify for the Commander in Chief’s Trophy with all those stellar performances against the service academies.
Unfortunately, Alabama is not another service academy, as you will certainly find out by halftime. But please do watch the entire game. I know I will relish doing so.
