MANY schools already have armed security. It's not about gun control....it's about ON SITE prevention.

And they should come up with something better than "lock down"....dispersement is likely a better option.

I read that some of the clasrooms in CT did not even have doors that locked from the inside, apparenlty the only kids that survived made it into closets that had locking doors

PR overcame common-sense first line of defense security

Seems classrooms neeed to be like cockpits, with bulletproof locking doors

and escape routes

and cops that dont take 20 minutes to arrive
