The British have responded to a petition calling for the deportation from the United States of CNN host Piers Morgan with one of their own: Stop Piers Morgan from being deported back to the UK from America.
The counter-petition, addressed to Theresa May, Home Secretary, is a direct response to the 70,000 Americans who have signed a petition calling for Mr. Morgan to be deported from the United States because of his strong gun-control views.
The UK petition, posted on change.org reads as follows:
We got rid of him [Piers Morgan] once and why should we have to suffer again. The Americans wanted him, so they should put up with him. We washed our hands of him a long time ago.
Infowars.com reports that British television personality Jeremy Clarkson has also weighed in on the controversy, tweeting:
Americans. It took us 40 years to get rid of Piers Morgan. Please dont send him back.
Morgan has always been an advocate of stricter gun laws but since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn., the debate over the 2nd Amendment has heated up, along with the hosts rhetoric.
On his Dec. 18 show, "Piers Morgan Tonight," CNN's Piers Morgan berated and insulted guest Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America. In his criticism of Pratt and Pratt's defense of the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Morgan said, among other things, "You are talking complete and utter nonsense. ... You're an unbelievable stupid man, aren't you? ... You are a dangerous man espousing dangerous nonsense. You shame your country."
I love the fact that Piers is getting this from his peers.
"...take Morgan back and we'll throw in Alec Balwin"
Maybe Hamas will take him or the Free Syrian groups, or maybe Boku Harem in Nigeria, unarmed of course, just give him some gloves and a fast rope.
Compromise!
Drop him in the middle.

The British do not want him.
The Americans do not want him.
Why is CNN so stuck on stupid?
Maybe we meet the Brits half way ~ take him to the mid-atlantic and they pick him up somehow.
Just once I want to see one of the guests say in mid rant “Show some professionalism” at a point where it would be damn hard to edit out.
Awesome. Maybe we should see if China or Cuba wants him instead?
A man without a country — LOL!!
Hey now... I have cousins in the Azores, and I like those folks.. let's not drop him near there, OK? ;-)
Best idea yet!
Look him up. You will be disgusted. You should be disgusted with both of them.
I love Jeremy Clarkson’s tweet. And yes, I love Top Gear, the most unabashed conservative show on British TV.
He’d be a perfect candidate for a job position with North Korea’s State run television.
I can guess who you have playing the role of Edward II.
BERMUDA IT IS THEN!
Piss Morgan, and hated worldwide!
