A petition on the White House's website calls for charges to be filed against David Gregory for breaking Washington, D.C.'s gun laws. "Press charges against David Gregory for possession of a 30-round, high capacity assault rifle magazine in Washington D.C," reads the title of the petition:
"David Gregory is not above the law; he is a journalist, and must be held accountable to the same law as every other person," reads the petition, referring to the most recent episode of Meet the Press when Gregory held up what he said was an ammunition clip for an AR-15.
The petition continues:
DC High Capacity Ammunition Magazines D.C. Official Code 7-2506.01
(b) No person in the District shall possess, sell, or transfer any large capacity ammunition feeding device regardless of whether the device is attached to a firearm. For the purposes of this subsection, the term large capacity ammunition feeding device means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition.
We The People demand that he be formally charged for violation of this law on "Meet The Press."
Currently, 5,612 people have signed the petition; only 19,388 more signatures are needed for the White House to respond.
Works for me. At this point the ends justifies any means to destroy liberals politically.
It is an Alynski tactic. Force them to show that the media elites are considered beyond the law. President Obama does not have the authority on this in any case.
It is up to 6,222 now. I do not expect the Obama administration to do anything. They lie all the time, they will attempt to ignore this. Once it reaches 25,000 we will need to make screen images, then we can mock the administration for their false populism and their intentional mocking of the rule of law.
A petition??? Someone has too much time on their hands. Good grief.
Silly petitioners. Liberals are above the law.
Laws are only to keep YOU in your place. not them.
Signing up to give this administration any info about you is not the smartest thing to do.
Don’t hold your breath. This libtard will get all the protection in the world from the other libtards.
I think its a fun idea except if you try it you will hit this:
“ Sign this Petition, A whitehouse.gov account is required to sign Petitions. “
Yep, why add more info for them?
